‘Homeland’s Damien Lewis Does ‘GQ’ Magazine

He's Modeling BOMBER Jackets ... Get It?

Homeland star Damian Lewis is featured in the new issue of GQ magazine and, if you can believe it, he is modeling bomber jackets for the men’s magazine. On Homeland, Lewis plays a terrorist named Nicholas Brody who is bent on the destruction of the United States of America. In the season one finale episode, his character tried to blow up the vice president with a bomb strapped to his body. Bomber jackets, get it? LOL. Click below to see a couple photos of Damian Lewis modeling a couple of bomber jackets and learn a bit more about the actor and his break-out character on Homeland.

On his character on Homeland, Nick Brody: “He’s a lot of fun to play because he behaves badly in extremis.”

On his ability to interchange between accents: “At this point, I don’t know what accent will come out when I order coffee in the morning.”

On his serious, contemplative on-screen exterior: “I know it looks like I’m thinking deep thoughts on the show,” he says, “but I’m probably just trying to remember my next line.”

I love Damian Lewis on Homeland and I have loved every interview with him that I’ve read in the past few months. He strikes me a s very cool guy and it’s very clear that he is a very accomplished actor. His work on Homeland is really spectacular, which is why he won the Emmy Award for Lead Drama Actor this past September. I am really enjoying season 2 of Homeland (which airs Sunday nights on Showtime) so this appearance in GQ magazine is a nice treat for me. Aren’t these great photos?
