Back in April we learned that Megan Fox was pregnant with her first child with hubby Brian Austin Green. Altho Brian already has a child with his former wife, this new baby is the first for the happily married couple. Since we learned of her pregnancy back in the Spring, we didn’t really hear much at all. Megan surfaced in public only a few times so chronicling her Bump Watch was difficult. Today we learn from Megan herself that she gave birth to a baby boy … last month. That’s right, those sneaky celebs secretly gave birth back on September 27 and they waited this long to tell us! We have been very lucky to have had a peaceful few weeks at home, but I would like to release this myself before others do. I gave birth to our son Noah Shannon Green on September 27th. He is healthy, happy, and perfect. We are humbled to have the opportunity to call ourselves the parents of this beautiful soul and I am forever grateful to God for allowing me to know this kind of boundless, immaculate love. Thanks to those of you who wish to send your positive energy and well wishes. May God bless you and your families abundantly.
Awww, Noah Shannon … what an absolutely Biblical and Irish name, I love it. And, to be honest, I also love that Megan and Brian were able to enjoy their pregnancy on their own terms, they were able to enjoy the birth of their first child together on their terms and they were able to make the birth announcement, again, completely on their own terms. While I think many of us gossip fans love to know everything about our fave celebs all the time, I think there is something fun and special about being surprised in this way … from time to time ;) I have no doubt that Megan and Brian are over the moon in love with their baby boy and are truly enjoying parenthood. I wouldn’t count on getting a good look at Noah Shannon anytime soon, that is, if his privacy-loving parents have any say. Let’s just send the happily expanded family all of our love and congrats today :D

I am not only impressed with their lack of exploitation of this potentially profitable event in their lives, I am SO HAPPY for them that they got to spend weeks with their new child in privacy.
I really respect that she didnt make a big event about it. I am hoping there isn’t the People Magazine spread in the works.
love the name. and i love how low key they kept everything! i was just thinking the other day about if she had her baby yet or not, then this announcement pops up. pretty damn impressive.
