After the release of a boring teaser clip and the release of an odd first promo video, Chanel No. 5 has unleashed a second full-length promo video featuring their new celebrity spokesmodel Brad Pitt. As you can see and hear above, the clip features the same odd speech that he delivers in the first promo video but this time, thankfully, the awkward video of Brad is mostly replaced by beautiful imagery of Chanel-clad female models. At the very least, this second promo video looks more like a Chanel ad so … there’s that. I’m not sure how many more of these Chanel ads will come but considering how much the company paid Brad to appear in this campaign, I suspect they will milk his endorsement for all they can.
I don’t get it. Why Chanel? Oh why? I know Brad Pitt is a credible endorser but what happened to the ad?
