Jason Schwartzman Joins Jude Law, Adrien Brody, And The Cast Of ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’

Wes Anderson Hearts Jason Schwartzman 4Eva

So a while back we got the sad, sad news that Johnny Depp would not be appearing in Wes Anderson‘s new flick, The Grand Budapest Hotel. However, we did get confirmation that Bill Murray (a fave of Anderson‘s) and the incomparable Angela Lansbury (recently photographed by Terry Richardson, to my shock and awe) would be in the movie. Jason Schwartzman AKA ‘Jonathan Ames’ formerly of HBO‘s Bored To Death AKA another fave of Anderson‘s (and mine, and PITNBR Sam‘s) is now confirmed to have a part in the movie, and he’ll be playing alongside the awesomeness that is Jude Law, Adrien Brody, Ralph Fiennes (le sigh), and a few others. How amazing does this cast sound?! I know. Amazing. Click inside for more.
Complex has the story:

Jason Schwartzman is teaming up with Wes Anderson. Again. According to Vulture, Schwartzman has just signed on to appear in Anderson’s next film, The Grand Budapest Hotel. Considering he’s been in a good handful of Anderson’s films – Rushmore, Darjeeling Limited, Fantastic Mr. Fox, and Moonrise Kingdom – this news isn’t particularly surprising, but good nonetheless.

He will join an already star-studded cast including Ralph Fiennes, Bill Murray, and Jude Law. Owen Wilson, Edward Norton, Willem Dafoe, Adrien Brody, and Jeff Goldblum are all reportedly expected to join the cast as well.

Seriously. Look at this cast:

Good times ahead.

Now we have no idea who any of these people are playing (although Angela Lansbury did reveal that she’s playing ‘a woman of mystery,’ lol), but who cares?! After Moonrise Kingdom took over the world, I no longer needed very much information about a Wes Anderson movie to know that I was absolutely going to see every new Wes Anderson movie. Although, truth be told, he had me at The Royal Tenenbaums.

How many of you are counting down the days til’ this movie drops?!
