Cee Lo Green is the man y’all! I’ve only watched, like, three episodes of The Voice but I’m a big fan of his music and I loooved him when he was with Goodie Mob (still, technically, is with Goodie Mob), so I know he’s the man! Paparazzi ran into him recently and asked him what he thought about the intense feud that only seems to be heating up between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey on the set of rival show American Idol. TMZ has the report:
“The Voice” judge Cee Lo Green is calling BS on Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj‘s fiery feud — telling TMZ, we’re in L.A. … practically EVERYTHING is fake in this town.
Cee Lo had just finished lunch in West Hollywood yesterday when we asked if he thought Nicki and Mariah’s “Idol” fight was legit — and he said, ”This is Hollywood, California. Hardly anything’s legit.”
As for a possible “American Idol” ratings boost following the Nicki/Mariah fight — Cee Lo says he’s not worried, claiming, “I’m not intimidated. I think it’s entertainment for everybody.”

I dunno guys! Mariah Carey‘s been dishing to Barbara Walters and Nicki Minaj went the hell off on Twitter, so it’s hard to say. I mean, it’s really hard to imagine the studios orchestrating such an event (although the people behind Nicki Minaj suggested such a thing). But then again, it is Hollywood, California as Cee Lo aptly pointed out, so ya never know! I should say, too, that in the video Cee Lo doesn’t make it sound like it’s a bad thing (if the feud was staged), but that it was more like a typical thing and a fun thing or an interesting thing; just not a completely real thing.
What do you guys think? I can certainly imagine many more people will want to tune in, just to see what the energy is like between Nicki and Mariah. Is there still any chance, in your mind, that this whole thing is a ratings ploy?
