It would seem that Lindsay Lohan is getting fed up with Amanda Bynes‘s ability to break the law without having to suffer any of the consequences that she suffered when she was in the habit of breaking the law. Last night, L. Lo posted a couple of tweets on her official Twitter profile that seemingly refer to Amanda‘s recent alleged illegal behavior in a “poor me” sort of way. As you can read below, Lindsay is dumbfounded as to why she was “put in jail” and “a nickelodeon star” (ie. Amanda Bynes) has had “no punishment (so far)”. HMMM. It sounds to me like a certain trainwreck all star is getting jealous that a new up and coming trainwreck is stealing all of her thunder.
Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far? + / These are the moments that I appreciate my life experiences, living without regrets and Disney for supporting me as an actress-night all*
Because I couldn’t resist, I had to respond to Lindsay’s tweets last night:
Unlike Lindsay, Amanda has yet to be convicted of any crimes … even tho she is accused of breaking the law multiple times in the past 6 months, she’s yet to go to court to answer those charges. Lindsay, on the other hand, has enjoyed a string of years where she was accused of breaking the law and time and time again she was convicted of various crimes … and put on probation as punishment. Despite the fact that Lindsay was on probation, she continued to violate the terms of that probation and was incarcerated as a result. I suppose Lindsay doesn’t understand that this is how the legal system works. Her whole “poor me, I’m treated differently from other trainwreck celebrities” just sounds like a bunch of bullshizz if you ask me. Seeking sympathy in this way only makes her look small. Sadly, if Amada Bynes continues on the path of behavior that she has been on for the past few months, she will eventually end up in court and may be convicted — just like Lindsay was. Amanda will likely be punished with probation — just like Lindsay was. And, if she doesn’t clean up her act, she may violate the terms of her probation and be incarcerated — just like Lindsay was. In time, Lindsay may no longer be asking “why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?” because Amanda may end up in the same jail cell that housed Lindsay. At that point, Lindsay may be lamenting the fact that a new trainwreck celebrity has taken her place in annals of trainwreckdom … and then she’ll really be sorry :/
