We all got to meet Nicole Snooki Polizzi‘s bundle of joy when he made his official debut on the cover of People magazine earlier this month. The Italian booties were insane; the hair was insane and Lorenzo Dominic‘s poofy little face was just too adorable for words. Yesterday, Snooki tweeted a really cute pic of her with Lorenzo and although we don’t really get to see the baby’s face, Snooki‘s got that cute sleepy-but-totally-in-lurve look going on, lol. The People photos were great, but I love this one because it pretty much sums up how new moms spend, like, 45-65% of their waking time. Plus we get a better look at that hair! Awesomeness.
Naturally, Snooki got plenty ‘o hate from people convinced that her false eyelashes were a clear sign of bad mothering but I think that it takes a lil’ more than that to qualify as a bad mommy. Until Snooki shows up drunk and/or high on Dr. Phil, she’s got my support, lol!
Bad mothering is a sign of bad mothering, not fake eyelashes. People are nuts. I think so far Snooki is a typical young/new mom and she’s doing things right. Who cares if she’s wearing fake eyelashes? Lots of mothers in the world have fake tits, fake hair, fake noses… are they all bad mothers?

Oh please, because a mom makes herself pretty that means she’s a bad mom? So I guess we all should go around in sweatpants, our husband/boyfriend’s shirts, and looking like we hadn’t showered in 5 days? Besides, it’s pretty easy to make yourself pretty when they’re little and not getting into everything yet. lol. Better take advantage of it.
