Actress Jennifer Lawrence is on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of W magazine and as you can see in the photo gallery above, she is trying a fancy new look for the mag. But let’s for get that she is posing with birds and is wearing feathers and focus on the fact that J. Law claims that her mother “is like Dina Lohan“. Um, what? That admission alone is cause for concern. Click below to read exactly what she has to say to W magazine and learn how Lohan her mother really is.
The parallels with Lindsay Lohan are there. Both she and Jennifer Lawrence were catapulted to fame at a tender age, though Lawrence, now 22, enjoyed a longer period of anonymity in her teenage years. But the Hunger Games actress has drawn an even closer comparison, by telling W magazine that her mother is like ‘Dina Lohan.’ Lawrence graces the cover of W magazine‘s October 2012 issue, the inaugural Generation W, which hits newsstands on September 25. And she talked about how her mother let the cat out of the bag when she landed the Hunger Games role. She said: ‘My mom talked about Hunger Games on the red carpet at the Academy Awards, which was something I had told her a million times not to do. She’s like Dina Lohan! – but she has good taste.’ Jennifer also added that she is a terrible dancer: ‘I’m such a bad dancer. I don’t have many talents: ‘I’m not a good cook, I can’t clean, and I can’t sew. The only thing I can do well is shoot bow and arrow – which I learned to do for The Hunger Games and will probably never come in handy – and act.’ And she admitted of life in Hollywood: ‘Sadly, I cannot live in Los Angeles anymore. I don’t understand how actors can do it. You have no life here. You are followed everywhere. It’s not like that anywhere else in the world. I don’t want to stay in L.A. and start thinking that’s reality – because it’s very far from normal. But I still love movies. I’m just going to love being in them from Kentucky, or Prague, or somewhere else.’
HMMM. I dunno about this photospread. I get that she is going for “high fashion” but …. I don’t think this look works for her. As for the interview, which you can read in full HERE, I don’t know why anyone would want to associate themselves with the Lohan family. I mean, I would be insulted if someone said that my mother was “like Dina Lohan“. For Jennifer‘s sake, I hope she is wrong and that her mother is nothing like Dina Lohan. I mean, does she really want to turn out like Lindsay Lohan? I’m a big J. Law fan but … this whole W magazine thing just isn’t working for me. What do you think?
