Today’s the day … today I go back in time to the totally tubular 1980s to run the Awesome 80s Run! 10K race at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA. If YOU would like to go on the run with me … you can! At 9AM PT (12PM ET), my Facebook profile *should* be updated with the announcement that I have started my run. You can leave comments on that FB post and those comments *should* be read to me by my Runmeter iPhone app. Nothing would make me happier nor would help me run faster more than hearing from you guys as I run my race :)
I snapped these photos at the Rose Bowl yesterday when I went to pick up my racing bib (#4160) and already, they had the party started with awesome 80s music and lots of photo taking opportunities. Today will be light for me on the blog, I have the race this morning, then I have to get my buns down to Anaheim, CA to pick up my racing bib for the Disneyland Half Marathon tomorrow. OMG. Go Trent!! I guess it’s over now… and I didn’t see this/those posts, otherwise I would’ve totally left you a message (or more!). What a fun run!! I did The Color Run (only a 5K, and I walked… and I was sicker than a dog and puked during it… but I did finish), and it was another cool theme-type of run. I’m liking these fun things! I’ve been doing Couch to 5K. (I just finished week 3.) We’ll see how it goes from here. But anyway… you are so awesome! :)
