Lindsay Lohan Banned From The Chateau Marmont Over A $46K Unpaid Hotel Bill

Bills, Bills, Bills

Over the Summer, Lindsay Lohan shacked up in her favorite place on Earth — the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, CA. During her stay, Lindsay racked up a considerable hotel bill … totaling, in sum, over $46,000.000. Unfortunately for the Chateau, Lindsay did not pay her exorbitant bill and is no longer welcome to stay there anymore until she pays up. The entire 16-page hotel bill has been released and it clearly shows that Lindsay truly enjoyed every amenity that is made available by the Chateau Marmont (she was particularly fond of raiding the mini bar in her room). Click below to see a few pages from Lindsay‘s bill and hear what she has to say in response to being banned from the Chateau Marmont.

Lindsay Lohan stiffed the famous Chateau Marmont hotel to the tune of $46,350.04, and she is now persona non grata. TMZ has obtained a letter from the General Manager of the hotel where John Belushi infamously OD’d and died … The GM notes the hotel repeatedly requested payment for the 47 days Lindsay stayed there during the months of June and July … but LiLo never anted up. Lindsay — who had been living at the hotel — was ordered to get her stuff out by 12 PM August 1. She was then banned from the entire property. Now get this … We also got the itemized bill for June and July, and it’s clear — Lindsay spends like a drunken sailor.

– Minibar charges for the 47 days: $3,145.07. The highest daily tab … July 1st — $502.43!!!

– Cigarettes: $686. She blew through 49 packs in 47 days at $14 a pop

– Chateau Candle: $100

– Chateau restaurant: On July 4 Lindsay racked up a $1,992.07 bill. On top of that, she spent $685.96 that day on room service

And what, pray tell, does Lindsay have to say in response? Why, as usual, the $46,000.00 hotel bill is not her problem:

Lindsay Lohan’s passing the buck — telling friends she thought the producers behind her recent Liz Taylor movie were going to pay her $46,350 hotel bill … which is why she never offered to cover the tab. Sources close to the actress tell TMZ, Lindsay claims producers agreed to cover her stay at L.A.’s Chateau Marmont while she filmed “Liz & Dick” earlier this summer — so she was shocked to learn there was an outstanding 5-figure bill in her name … and even more shocked when she was banned from the hotel when the bill went unpaid. We’re told Lindsay is currently trying to sort the problem out with producers — and if they refuse to pay, Lindsay will happily cover the tab. We reached out to Lifetime for comment — so far, no word back.

It’s like — same bullshizz, different day. I think the Earth would stop turning on its axis the day that Lindsay Lohan takes responsibility for … anythingat all … just once. If jewelry goes missing, she didn’t take it. If car accidents happen, it’s not her fault. If hotel bills go unpaid, it’s not her problem. Not a single part of this ridiculousness is even remotely surprising to me. Undoubtedly, someone will pay this bill … the Chateau will welcome her back to take advantage again and the world will continue to turn. Oh, it must be Wednesday.

  1. what i don’t understand is that if this actually was a “misunderstanding” and that she will be “happy to take care of the debt” – why not just pay the hotel and make arrangements to get reimbursed from lifetime? i’m sure $46k isn’t the most that someone has charged up at that hotel, but considering that that amount is more than most people make in a year (or two), why not act like a freakin adult and take care of yo shit?!

    • ‘but considering that that amount is more than most people make in a year (or two)’ That actually makes me so angry, she’s so ridiculously spoilt and deluded. I actually don’t even want her to make a comeback, I have no compassion towards her at all anymore.

Why didn’t the hotel lock her ass out if she was not paying?

  3. So sweet of her to rack up such a high bill and just hope that her employers would take care of it. I can’t understand why more people don’t want to hire her?!

Sure Lindsay, because your extravagant less-than-two-month stay of $46,000 wouldn’t have been written up in your contract. Yawn.
