Last night I met up with Darion, Loy, Sebastian and some of their friends for a night of theater, laughter and merriment in Hollywood and I am pleased to report that we enjoyed a very full night of the aforementioned. Darion suggested that we see a production titled Streep Tease, which is a show that features monologues from Meryl Streep films all performed by men. Obvs, I was very interested in seeing this brilliant show. Afterward, we made our way to St. Felix in Hollywood for some aftershow food and drink. Read on to hear what I think of Streep Tease.

When Darion first told me about this show, I was really anxious to see the production for myself. I am happy to inform you that Streep Tease is a really fun show, deffo worth seeing if you get the chance. Over the course of the 90 minute show, various male performers deliver memorable monologues from some of Streep‘s hundreds of films. Each monologue is presented differently … some use props, another featured audience participation and — of course — the show ends with a musical number. I laughed quite a bit last night. Streep Tease is cleverly staged and very well acted. As you can imagine, the monologes from Out of Africa, The Devil Wears Prada and Doubt were brilliantly fun and entertaining. I’m really glad Darion suggested that we see this show, I would’ve missed seeing it otherwise. I understand Streep Tease is now in its third year of performances (which take place here in LA, in NYC etc.) and I sincerely hope it will live on for many years to come. It’s a funny show, y’all. Deffo check it out if you can.
After the show, we made our way to St. Felix for food and drink. We ate, we drank and we were very merry … and of course we posed for a group photo:

I didn’t stay out too late so that I could be refreshed for today … but I ended up staying UP too late and well, I’m a bit tired today. I’m hoping to meet up with friends later today but I also have some TV to get thru (I’m SO almost done with the entire Star Trek: Deep Space Nine series) and some books to read so … it may be a lazy Saturday. I hope you are having a great weekend!

MUST. SEE. Thanks for sharing this Trent!
