Earlier this month we got to check out Kendrick Lamar‘s new video for Swimming Pools and it was so fun getting to know this new artist. As we reported, Lady Gaga has cosigned the Compton rapper hardcore and she’s easily his biggest fan. Gaga supported him during his performance at the Pitchfork Festival in Chicago and had everyone buzzing about their relationship. Mother Monster has now confirmed that the two friends are collaborating on a new record together. Deets and tweets inside!

So there you have it! It’s going down, and I am definitely excited to see what these two come up with. Stylistically, Kendrick and Gaga are very different but one can easily imagine them being quite complimentary, unique artists that they are.
Anybody else excited to see how this track will pan out?
The collabo will appear on Kendrick‘s forthcoming album good kid, m.A.A.d city, which drops October 2.
