Christina Aguilera Shares Photos From Her New Album Photoshoot

Christina Aguilera will return to TV this Fall as judge on the singing competition series The Voice but it turns out that she is also readying the release of a new album. It would seem that Xtina’s new album release is fairly soon because yesterday she got herself all dolled up for the cover art photoshoot. Xtina shared a few photos on Twitter from the set of her album cover shoot yesterday, photos that you can see below.

Album cover photoshoot day! Music video shoots soon. Getting closer. Thrilled to be back in my “artist mode”. Kisses! / A girl needs her options… At the album photoshoot… / peek-a-boo, just for u! xx….

As you may recall, we learned last month that Xtina is reportedly planning to release a new single this month but … August is already half over and we haven’t heard a thing officially about any new music releases from Xtina. Still, the fact that she is posing for album art leads me to believe that the release of new music is imminent. I may not be the biggest Xtina fan but I am very curious to hear new stuff from her. I’ll be keeping my eyes and ears open for any new Xtina music news. Stay tuned.

I am a little concerned that her hair looks like THG Effie! Curious to hear what her new music will sound like.

Her makeup is flawless. FLAWLESS. I’m with Krissy – her hair does remind me of Effie’s, but it also reminds me of My Pretty Pony.

Some people went to a taping of the Voice and apparently Carson said she’ll debut the first performance of ‘Your Body’ during the blind auditions..whether we hear the song beforehand remains to be seen.

Either way, I’m the most excited person alive right now!

im loving the purple pieces in her hair, shes picked a shade that really compliments her. and i have faith that as long as theres purple hair..theres no red lipstick haha.

im excited, i always love me some new Xtina music.

The curls and wardrobe shots lead me to think it’s a 20’s theme…I definitely approve!
