After PITNB, my second-favorite happy place is CelebriGum. I introduced this ridiculously brilliant site to y’all a while back when we did the Eat, Play, Lurve post and I got to share some of my favorite sites with you guys. For those of you who don’t remember, CelebriGum is exactly what it sounds like– a blog that juxtaposes the celebrity experience… with gum. The site is the brainchild of Steve Young; Steve is a writer at the Late Show With David Letterman and he never ceases to amaze me with his hilariously (bad) photos of celebrities coming in to do the show (and the ever-present gum watching over them). Believe it or not, that’s Elizabeth Banks in the main pic, but the gum on the ledge is the real reason we’re all here (the captions for the pics and the comments from readers are also pretty awesome). Now Steve‘s taking this quirky idea to a whole ‘nother level with the announcement of a new poetry contest that I am soooo entering! Denis Leary/gum/poetry fans stand up! Today is your day.
