Last week we learned that popstar Carly Rae Jepsen will release her debut album titled Kiss next month and today we get our first look at the album art for that release. Kiss will hit stores on September 18 and if you click below you can see what the album cover will look like. Carly shared the photo with her legion of followers on Twitter so if you’re curious, maybe you wanna take a look?

I like it. It’s simple, straightforward and very pink. I’m not sure if it’s intentional but I get a strong 80′s vibe from this album art. From the color scheme, to the font to the outfit that CRJ is wearing, this cover art looks like it came from 1983. And, I have to admit, I am CRAZY curious about this release. Call Me Maybe is such an infectious song that I really want to hear what else Carly has got in store for us. Her people took their time with this album release, hopefully they managed to fill it full of other infectiously amazing pop tracks. Let’s hope.
