Lindsay Lohan Will Reportedly Appear In Lady Gaga’s New Music Video

Remember last month when Lindsay Lohan, Lady Gaga and Lana Del Rey had a sleepover party at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, CA? Yeah, well, it would appear that the ladies used the occasion to become life long BFFs. And what do BFFs do for one another? Why, they let their BFFs appear in their music videos, of course. Rumor has it that now that L. Lo and Gaga are besties, Gags has decided to put Linds in her next music video. I mean, makes sense, right?

Lindsay Lohan’s already landed the next role in her acting comeback: starring in an upcoming Lady Gaga music video off the singer’s anticipated album, “ARTPOP,” sources say. Gaga and Lohan have become fast friends and made headlines by hanging out at the Chateau Marmont last month. Gaga posted pics of their encounter — she in a tiara and pearls while Lohan covered her mouth with a French-manicured hand — on her Web site Little Monsters. But, it seems, the collaboration is going a step further. “Lady Gaga and Lindsay caused a stir last month when they had their ‘sleepover’ at the Chateau [Marmont],” a Hollywood insider told us, adding, “and now it turns out that Lindsay will be starring in Gaga’s new video from her upcoming album.” Lohan’s been attempting a comeback with roles in the Lifetime movie “Liz & Dick” and in Bret Easton Ellis’ “The Canyons,” opposite male porn star James Deen. But the potential Gaga gig represents a more mainstream opportunity. “Due to Gaga’s superstar status, this would be Lindsay’s biggest [role] by far in many, many years,” a source said. But others wonder why Gaga’s involving Lohan. “Why this huge artist — who could literally have anyone she wants — chose someone currently at the bottom of the Hollywood food chain remains a mystery,” one observer sniffed … A source close to Gaga said, “Lady Gaga’s not shooting a music video at this time.” Reps for Gaga and LiLo declined comment.

Honestly … I’m on board for this collaboration. Since I’m not at all a Gaga fan, I have no personal investment in whether or not the video turns out well. That’s not to say that I hope it’s a terrible video, I just mean I won’t be affected either way. That said, I don’t know why but I’m totally intrigued by this idea that Lindsay and Gaga are best friends now. I doubt it’ll last, after all, remember the days when Lindsay was BFFs with Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton and Hilary Duff? Oh right, she was never friends with Hilary since they used to fight over the love of Aaron Carter (OMG, remember that ancient history?!) but Lindsay was friends with the other Hollywood “It” Girls once upon a time. For now, L. Lo and Gaga are friends so, yeah, I think I’d be up for seeing where their friendship takes them. I approve of this music video. I hope it really comes to fruition.
