As the Olympic Games continue in London, Prince Harry has taken a bit of a break from being merely a spectator of the XXX Olympiad in order to engage in a bit of healthy competition of his own. Harry paid a visit to the WOMAD (World of Music Arts & Dance) Festival in Wiltshire to celebrate its 30th anniversary and he decided to get in on the action. Donning an Angry Birds hat (random, I know) he took on an opponent in ping-pong. Yeah, it was awesome.
Prince Harry showed he was game for a laugh when he donned an Angry Birds hat to play table tennis. The 27-year-old Prince gave a plug to the yellow computer game character on an outing to the Womad world music festival in Wiltshire. He attended the 30th anniversary of the music festival with his latest lady friend, Cressida Bonas, 23, his cousin Princess Beatrice, and her boyfriend Jack Brooksbank. The brainchild of British pop legend Peter Gabriel, the Womad festival took place at the Royal Bath and West Showground last weekend. It featured sets from Nigerian Afrobeat pioneer Femi Kuti, Senegal’s Carlou D and South Africa’s township jive quintet Hot Water. Alongside the international acts, British performers like Revere, Scottish pipers Breabach, Mercury nominees Portico Quartet and popsters Vadoinmessico wowed music fans. Prince Harry was spotted there on Saturday, partying up a storm, the BBC reported. He wore his video game-inspired headgear atop another brimmed hat, paired with a casual, fleece-style hooded top and dark-blue jeans. It was a well-deserved day off for the playboy Prince, who has since had a schedule packed with Olympic responsibilities, including representing the royals at the women’s beach volleyball tournament.
I mean ………………. what else is there to say. Prince Harry in an Angry Birds hat ………… playing ping-pong. Too much awesome to put into words. Enjoy.
