Some of you may know that Usher‘s stepson Kile Glover, who was critically injured in a jet ski accident and recently taken off life support, was laid to rest yesterday, July 27th. TMZ has photos from the funeral, but I was reluctant to share them; I really can only take so much and it was a sad sight to see. But they’re still posted on the website, if you’d like to see them here. I was hoping there’d be some more positive news I could share with you guys about this and here it is! Tameka Foster, Usher‘s ex-wife and Kile‘s mother, has spoken out (at least on twitter) since Kile‘s funeral and made an important announcement about a fund she’s starting. Deets inside.

I am beyond impressed that Tameka was able to make a public statement and try to make some good of this tragedy. How she is able to do it, I have no idea– but I wish her the best and really hope that the foundation succeeds. Of all the ways you can grieve over a loss, this is a really positive route to go.
