I’m afraid I don’t have a terribly exciting personal update today. With all the tinkering still going on behind the scenes here on the blog, I couldn’t really get away from my computer for most of yesterday. I had plans to head out to a concert last night but, alas, I just couldn’t make it. I did manage to get a lot of TV watching done, so there’s that :) As you may recall, I’ve been re-watching old eps of Star Trek and lately I’ve been watching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Yesterday, I made it to season 4 … exciting, eh?

I’m certain this will only be of interest to you Trekkies out there but I have finally reached the point where ST: Deep Space Nine gets exciting. Much like ST: Voyager did in Season 4 when they added Seven of Nine as a new character to spice up the series, DS9 added Worf to their series to jazz up the show. Worf was a very popular character from ST: The Next Generation so it made sense to add him to DS9 after the end of TNG. For the most part, I’ve been enjoying DS9 but the series is a bit … slow. But, the writing is good and the stories are very Star Trek-like so … I soldier on. I’ve never watched DS9 all the way thru and now I’m halfway done. Again, exciting, I know.
Later today, I’m going with David to a Pop-Up Pantry event which should be fun. I’ve never seen him in action with his new company so, I’m really looking forward to it. I need to run at some point this weekend … at least 8 miles either today or tomorrow. THE FUN NEVER STOPS AROUND HERE! I hope you are having a great weekend … Happy Saturday!!

Have you gotten around to watching Star Trek: Nemesis? Terrible movie but it’s worth watching if only for Tom Hardy
@Jess — OMG YES!!!! I’ve seen all of the Star Trek movies. I about fell off my chair after I rewatched Nemesis again last December and realized it was Tom :)
It gets so good once Worf shows up! I love TNG, but he’s way better on DS9.
