Jack White (formerly of The White Stripes) has gone solo with his latest effort Blunderbuss. And now he’s teamed up with Hype Williams (!!!) to bring us the video for his latest single, Freedom At 21. It’s everything you expect from Hype Williams (i.e. video vixens are heavy in the building) and Jack White doesn’t disappoint either. With vibrant, pulsating visuals behind him he simply, rocks. Checkie out inside!
Jack White: Freedom At 21
Uh. Yeah. That was kind of awesome! Hella flashy, which is what we can always expect from Hype but still really well-done I think. Those guitar solos were absolutely bananas! And I can see now why he enlisted Hype to direct the video; the song is pure rock but still has a hip-hop vibe to it. I think I’m in love.
Any Jack White fans in the building? I can’t claim to have followed him closely, and for that, I’m disappointed in myself. But I’ve always lurved his singles and the fact that he scares me a little bit makes me think he’s got something worth checking out, lol.
And since I’m all about getting to know him better, let’s check out the video he released a lil while back for Sixteen Saltines. It’s um, a little different from the Hype Williams vid.
Um, ok, I guess we’re having a Jack White fest. Ya’ll have to bear with me because I seem to be falling in lurve as I type. How am I just now watching this video?!
