Two weeks ago we learned the happy news that Adele is pregnant with her first child! But, according to a new report out today, it looks like we may be welcoming the birth of her baby sooner than we anticipated. It was assumed by everyone that Adele‘s announcement was made fairly early into her pregnancy (at the very least, after her first trimester) but it is being reported today that she is much farther along in her pregnancy than was assumed. Apparently, if this report is to be believed, Adele is going to birth her baby in just two short months — in September!
News of Adele’s pregnancy only broke on 29 June – but heat can report exclusively that the award-winning singer will soon hear the pitter patter of tiny feet as she is due to give birth in early September! No, this isn’t the quickest pregnancy ever – Adele has actually been keeping her happy news a secret for seven months! Sneaky! “Adele has barely left the house in recent months, so she could keep this to herself for as long as possible,” an insider close to the 24-year-old singer has told heat. Adds the source, “She stopped exercising a few months ago, and since then it’s been all about the baby.” Looking back, all the clues have been there. Adele didn’t fly to the Billboard Awards in the US back in May, despite winning a staggering 12 gongs. She then turned up to the Ivor Novello Awards on 17 May dressed in a loose fitting full-length black dress. Adele snuck into the awards do late, and the usually very chatty singer then refused to speak to the media or pose for pictures.
On the one hand, this story kinda feels like one of those ridiculous tabloid stories that is almost impossible to believe but, then again, I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out to be true. For as open as Adele is with her lyrics, she is surprisingly private about her personal life to the press. I’m not sure which I believe more — that this report is just ridiculously wrong or that Adele is ridiculously good at keeping a secret. Adele is a big(ger) girl, so it doesn’t surprise me that she has been pregnant for quite some time. Sometimes I see a plus-size girl with a bit of a bulge and I don’t know whether it’s a 5-month pregnant belly, or just fat. Her size has probably helped to conceal the fact that she’s been pregnant for a while.
Yes, this would help her hide it a bit more. Pregnancy is less noticable on heavier people until the later stages. Plus, Adele tends to wear loose fitting clothing so this helps as well! Good for her keeping it quiet!
Oh, and I’m really digging this knit sweater-thing she has on in the picture. I want it.
i could totally believe this. the girl is super low key. you dont get many pictures of her out & about.
I think it might be true. I mean when was the last time we saw of picture of her in public or sing on a TV show beside the Grammy.
