July 20th is fast approaching but that doesn’t mean we’ve had the last of our sneak peeks. New stills have been released from The Dark Knight Rises, the final chapter in Chris Nolan‘s Batman saga. Get your look on inside.
The Dark Knight‘s Rising
Ahhhh. Marion Cotillard makes life happy :) Now E! Online has some new, really interesting little deets from the production notes of the film. For those who were concerned, Joseph Gordon-Levitt‘s character is crucial to the film’s plot. According to Nolan, his character is meant to contrast the “somewhat jaded” attitudes of Bruce Wayne and Commissioner Gordon. JGL as (John Blake) really drives the plot with his young, idealistic fervor. We’ve also learned that the flick’s running time is pretty lengthy, at 2 hours and 45 minutes, and that the story will pick up eight years after we last saw Batman battling the Joker, beefing with Harvey Dent and losing Rachel Dawes. When the movie begins, all of Gotham will still consider Batman to be a murderer.
And then there’s also Marion Cotillard.
