The Real Estalker Blog, which is like a sophisticated online version of MTV Cribs, is my new bff. They are up on all the latest celebrity home listings and I occasionally go there to see the houses I can’t afford to buy, but can afford to drool over. This week, I learned that Giuliana and Bill Rancic are selling their beautiful Los Angeles rental property. And you can totally have it! For the small asking price of almost $2.4 million :) Deets and pretty pics inside.

As you may have heard, Giuliana and Bill are expecting their first child (it’s a boy!) and, thus, have plans to continue construction on a newly purchased home while this home (used primarily for filming their reality show on E! Guiliana & Bill) is on the market.
Now the exact asking price for the rental property is $2,395,000 and for that amount, you’ll get to live in Los Angeles (in the upscale Brentwood neighborhood), in a 2,272 square foot home with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The home also boasts a front garden, pools, and a hillside view. Nice! And some of your neighbors? Arnold Schwarzenegger, Julie Andrews and Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin. Not bad.

Here’s a lovely introductory description of the Rancic’s property from The Real Estalker:
It takes but few steps on a brick path to get from a compact driveway at the end of a short cul-de-sac[e] to a puny (but properly-scaled) portico entry. A glass and wood Dutch door—and who does not love a Dutch door?—opens in to a spacious center hall entry where a petite den/office to the left of the entry has built-in book shelves on either side of a bay window. The living room runs along the back of the house and features a red brick fireplace, a full wall of built-in cabinets and book shelves, and chocolate-colored hardwood floors that run throughout both floors. A row of multi-paned windows and French doors lead out to a cozy covered porch that spans the full width of the back of the house.
See, this is the problem with these sites! Suddenly, I find myself craving a Dutch door and chocolate-colored hardwood floors– having never considered either of these a necessity in life. Thank you Real Estalker.
Anybody got an extra $2.4 milli lying around?

I’m confused by the use of “rental property” and “selling” in the same sentence. What makes a home you own a “rental property” vs. a house?
I’m pretty sure that’s the house they were renting, the owners (not Guliana and Bill) just decided to put it on the market.
Grace, thanks for helping clarify.
cmc, I think the way it works is that Giuliana and Bill are actually the tenants so even though we say they’re ‘selling’ the house, it really is the sale of the owner.
I think you might be wrong there, check your facts girl. They probably owned the home but have not been living there and just rented it out to some tenants. Now with the new house that they’re hoping to build, they’re selling this house to get some extra cash out for the new construction.
It’s perfect.
