Packed with over a dozen sensational career-spanning hits and two new chart-topping songs, “Dance Again…The Hits,” released July 24th on Epic Records, marks Jennifer Lopez’s first-ever greatest hits package. The stellar new tracks are “Goin’ In” (featuring Flo Rida) and “Dance Again” (featuring Pitbull). “Dance Again” has sold more than 1.4 million copies worldwide since its March 2012 debut, and reached #1 on the Billboard Dance/Club Play Chart. On May 10th, Jennifer sizzled on stage while performing “Dance Again” on American Idol, as well as executing a scorching version of “Goin In” on the American Idol finale. “Dance Again” finds Lopez, Pitbull and producer RedOne teaming up as they did for “On the Floor,” which is also on “Dance Again…The Hits.” 2011’s “On The Floor” is Lopez’s most successful single to date, topping more than 18 national single charts and selling over three million copies. The deluxe edition of “Dance Again…The Hits” includes the bonus tracks “All I Have,” “Que Hiciste” (from Lopez’s first full-length Spanish-language album, 2007’s Como ama una Mujer) and “Let’s Get Loud,” plus a DVD with all the smash videos from the album. Both versions of “…The Hits” (track listing below), feature her May 1999 chart debut, “If You Had My Love,” Lopez’s trademark “Jenny From The Block,” as well as hit collaborations and remixes with Fabolous, Ja Rule, Fat Joe and others. Honestly, it’s about time that Jennifer Lopez started paying serious attention to her music career. She let it lie dormant for far too long and lost a lot of the success she enjoyed in the early 00’s. I get that she was more focused on her film career but there was a long time when her films weren’t doing so well and she could’ve focused on music again. If it wasn’t for her judging gig on American Idol, I doubt any of us would be talking about J. Lo with any seriousness … in any capacity. I LOVE J. Lo’s first 3 albums … she put out some great hits, many are featured on this new greatest hits package. I’m so glad she is finally touring … it’s fun having J. Lo the popstar back among us. I think this greatest hits album will do much to remind folks of just how great her music used to be … and hopefully it’ll inspire her to make more hits in the future.

ive always been a sucker for Jlos music. the girl put out some fun music.
hell ‘waiting for tonight’ is STILL my jam.
i kind of wish she put some more of her older songs on this GH album though, but for the most part – this is pretty spot on as far as her hits go. i’ll probably be buying.

    • @nicole — “‘waiting for tonight’ is STILL my jam” MINE TOO!!! I still go apeshizz when ‘Play’ comes on. I need to see J. Lo on tour, damnit!

    • nicole

@Trent – see, ‘Play’ should totally be on this album! hopefully if everything goes right, i’ll be able to see Jlo on July 17th! the girl puts on a great show! you definitely need to see her when she hits LA!

  • HOW has she never toured before?

  • Akeen

    Awesome… I love Jlo, I can’t wait till 24th, July… :D

    • Joe

You got to be kidding me and the music industry, I don’t where you got your information, probably from Jlo management, but her last album “Love” was a flop, only sold 300 thousands copies over a year span, which was also label by the Billboard the album flop of the year, and as far as her career, that pass history, as soon as Idol fires her so does her career, News Corp COO told investors at the corporate meeting last month, that Idol has lost more than $171 Million dollars in advertisements endorsements for season 11 due to low TV ratings, and that they need “new fresh energy” meaning new judges for season 12, so Jlo is doing everything possible to create news and drama, because she knows after Idol, she done.
