Justin Bieber Shows Off A New Arm Tattoo, A Real One This Time

Earlier this week we got a good look (and a hearty chuckle) at Justin Bieber’s new Sharpie marker arm “tattoo” but today we learn that the rascally little popstar went and got a real arm tattoo to replace his fake one. The Biebs got the word BELiEVE tattooed on his left arm, undoubtedly in honor of the release this week of his new album titled Believe. Click below to check out JB’s newest tattoo and see what you think of his latest body modification.

Now, I try not to make a practice of criticizing any person’s decision to get tattoos or (generally) to criticize their tattoo design choices … but … I can’t say I’m a fan of this new tattoo. While I can appreciate that JB wants to commemorate the release of his new album, I cannot, in good conscious, endorse his font choice. The word Believe is a strong word, the font he chose to represent the word on his body — forever — just looks silly, childish.

While I try not to criticize other people’s tattoo decisions, I must admit that Bieber’s youthful and immature decisions may be a source of regret later in life. He may love this tattoo for all time. My guess is that he will not. Still, he is old enough to make his own decisions … so, I hope he is happy with his choices. What do you think of JB’s tattoo? Are you a fan? Can you believe that he would permanently ink this on his body?

I would have chose a better font.

    • Capt. Crunch Jr.

I agree. It looks like that was made with Word-art.

  • Sarah

I’m with you on this one for SURE, Trent. Of all the fonts…he chooses THAT? For real?!

  • rOXy

I wonder if he is going to commemorate every album release in such a way? I don’t think it’s so bad. It’s kinda like a comic book font. You know, “POW!”,”ZAP!”, “BAM!”. Like that.

Just looked at it again, and Ripley’s Believe It or Not came to mind. :/

  • Revan Vampir

Maybe he should save his $$$ and buy an encyclopedia instead. Sixteenth Chapel? OMG – I wanted to smack him when he said that on Letterman.

    • rOXy

LOL..Revan. The kid obvs was more interested in his career than his education and it shows. Still, he has more money than I will make in my lifetime, so I have to cut him some slack. I paid attention in my History, English, Art and Literature classes and they didn’t seem to get me very far. At least not when compared to how far his ignorance took him.

    • his ignorance didn’t take him anywhere. his singing talent did.
if that were part of the job, knowing things (lol), he wouldn’t have been successful.

and that tattoo is horrendous. “believe”. hahaha..hahaha

True Lorili…bad phrasing on my part. I guess I didn’t pay ENOUGH attention in English. :D

  • ClaireMichelle

Oh dear… I can’t imagine it will take him long to regret that font choice. I mean… C’mon.

  • blaqfury

I’ll just be sure to keep Zap-a-Tat’s number for him when he asks for it in 15 years…

  • Nathan

At least he knew it was “I before E”!! lol

  • Alyssa

At that rate, he should have just gotten it in Comic Sans. Sheesh.

  • belieber4ever
