It’s so awesome when people find creative ways to pay tribute to their favorite films. This past weekend I came across three “trailers” (respectively) to 2010′s Inception, this summer’s Prometheus, and 1993′s Mrs. Doubtfire. All of them blew me away in either composition or general ridiculousness. And I think we can all agree that whenever Lego is involved, something cool is bound to go down. Peep the LegoLand version of Inception, Mrs. Doubtfire as a thriller (which it technically should have been), and the lovable, mechanical reality TV “man” of Prometheus inside.

(the project took almost 1,000 hours of work)

A Horrifying (but hilarious) take on Mrs. Doubtfire
These were so fun, and watching them reminded me of this French artist that I adore. Pascal Witaszek comes up with fan-made movie posters for films that don’t exist. Check out the gallery of some of his brilliant posters.

The Mrs. Doubtfire trailer is soo creepy. That movie has to be my all time favorite growing up and had I not already know it was a comedy I would have thought it was a psychological slasher thriller. Whoever did that trailer did a great job. I was also creeped out by the Inception trailer (but that movie was creepy in its original form too). Great job Shannon for finding these. This made my day. Hope you create more posts like this in the future. You’re impressing me so far.
Joanna– so glad you liked! And yes, more quirky-fun art-fart to come :)
It’s “lego”, not “legos”.
Thanks VV!
Oh wow, the Pascal Witaszek movie posters are fantastic! Really enjoying your posts Shannon :)
Sarah, thank you! I love that guy!
