Gwyneth Paltrow’s Daughter Apple Martin Shows Off Pink Hair At Jay-Z And Kanye West Concert

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s daughter, Apple, turned eight years old on May 14th and it feels like the years have flown by. I haven’t seen a pic of her in a while and I have to say, she’s really grown up. Not only is she tall and poised, but she carries a handbag and has dyed pink hair. A few months ago we got to see Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s daughter, Willow, with her dyed green hair and now it is Apple’s turn with a shade of scarlet. Gwyneth took her kiddies, Apple and Moses, to Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch the Throne show at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday night. Check out the pics of these kiddies before you blink and they’re full blown adults.

I seriously can’t believe that Apple Martin is already 8 years old. This makes me feel old. Carrying a tote bag, black pants and jean jacket, Apple looked every bit the daughter of a rock star. Her newly pinked hair also adds to her rocker look. The pic is only her profile, but she’s also looking a lot like her dad, Chris Martin from Coldplay, don’t you think?

Once inside the concert, mom Gwyneth, tweeted a pic of her two ultra cool kids paying homage to their “Uncle Jay” with the Roc-A-Fella Records diamond symbol. Gwynnie tweeted, “Yup. Uncle Jay at the O2.”

Gwyneth and her hubby are good friends with Jay-Z and Beyoncé so it makes sense that she took Apple and Moses to their “uncle Jay’s” show, and I’m sure they had VIP passes, but I have to say I’m not quite sure how appropriate some of it would have been for a 6 and 8 year old. Regardless, Gwynnie is one cool mom, chaperoning her children to the concert. I’m still not over how cute and grown up Apple is. These are two seriously trend setting rockstar kiddies. I had no idea about Jay-Z’s Roc-A-Fella records symbol, let alone pink hair when I was eight years old.

they’re wearing them… but what does this have to do with the lyrical content?

Bringing your 6 and 8 year-old to a rap concert riddled with swears….is this ok because they are celebrities? Wtf is happening to this world?!

  • nicole

im sorry. but theres no way i would bring my young kids to a rap concert. i know you cant shelter your kids from everything but at 6 and 8 you sure as hell can shelter them from all the cussing that you know was going on at that show.

IMO, at the end of the day cuss words are just words (and no doubt they have heard those words on tv, on the streets of NYC, from classmates, etc.). You can’t shield your kids from the world, but you can discuss what they see and the pros and cons of it all.

I’m not a fan of Gwyneth but I loved how she managed not being photographed near Kim Kardashian despite she was there too. Beyonce didn’t even attend

    It’s really been 8 years??

My first thought was “What! Apple can’t be old enough for a concert!” Lol. I can’t believe she’s 8 already. But I still don’t think she’s old enough for a rap concert
