The Quickest Way To A Man’s Heart

Last night, David and I were invited to the home of one of the chefs he is working with with his new business Pop Up Pantry and we had the best time ever. Not only were we invited but David’s business partner Tom and his husband Patrick were also included in last night’s dinner. I have to say, one of the benefits of David’s new business is that he and lucky me are now surrounded by amazing food all the time. Last night’s delicious dinner was only the latest of those perks.

Unfortunately, David and I were so bizzy chatting and eating that we failed to take a single photo at all last night. It’s a rare occasion when I go a day without taking any photos on my phone. You’ll have to take my word for it, we ate like kings last night. Man, I’m getting hungry just thinking about it right now.

Today, I’m hoping to go out for a run but my stupid throat and allergies might hinder my plan. I am lookin’ to hit the 9 mile mark so … I’ll go for it … er, sometime this week ;) David and I are planning a date night tonight so hopefully we’ll finally get to see Cabin in the Woods or Dark Shadows. I hope YOU are having a fabulous week! Happy Wednesday!

  • enjoy Cabin in the Woods (if you see it)… that movie forever changed how I view unicorns.

  • See Dark Shadows. I saw it last weekend and thought it was great. The ending is very stupid (but then again what ending of a Tim Burton movie isn’t?) but overall I thought Johnny Depp was hilarious.

Cabin in the Woods is probably my favorite movie of 2012 so far. It is freaking amazing, I know you will love it Trent!
