Mom-to-be, Giuliana Rancic, is busy busy. She is not only the E! News anchor, star of her own reality TV series, and style connoisseur but now she has announced that she is going to be launching her own clothing line later this year. She has collaborated with HSN to create her own fashion collection called “G by Giuliana”. Read on to find out what we can expect from the line, and when it will be available to the public.
Giuliana is one stylish lady, we know that. She has also worked for years on Fashion Police so she has become a bit of a style icon and also learned what fashion on the red carpet is a hit and miss.
Her debut collection will launch on HSN, HSN.com and HSN Mobile early this fall, and while she’s keeping the full details under wraps on what types of styles we can expect (we’d love to see a baby collection), Giuliana wasted no time in sharing her enthusiasm over the new project.
“I’m beyond excited,” Giuliana tells E! Online. “All the time I’ve spent on Fashion Police, E! News and Live From the Red Carpet puts me on the front line of style. Viewers are always asking for style advice so it inspired me to start my own line. My priority was to make clothes that were very affordable and very chic.”
Giuliana is one seriously competent woman, but I just hope that she isn’t stretching herself too thing. She is expecting her newborn baby in the late summer via a gestational surrogate and still has all her other work. Now she is adding a new clothing line under her name in the fall, just after her baby arrives. It is a great idea from a marketing perspective though; Guiliana is a brand name now, and the last few months she has become increasingly well known and respected. I actually think she will create a great fashion collection because she has a good sense of style, but we will have to wait and see if she gets the balance right between style, taste and affordability. Too many celebrities’ fashion collections end up being one or the other, and it would be great to finally have a collection with gets both spot on. I wonder if Guiliana can do it?0
