Justin Bieber Has Passed His High School Exams

Graduated! Congrats!

Justin Bieber turned 18 a few months ago, and got a $100,000 car as a present, and now he has hit another major milestone -he has graduated from high school. In between his hectic schedule of touring, recording and promoting, he has been working to complete his final year at school. Today we have learned that Biebs is a graduate. His girlfriend, Selena Gomez, graduated from high school in 2010, but Justin revealed that his main source of inspiration for completing school education was his mother.

“I just finished high school…I passed my test – I’m free! It was hard doing school and work every day….That was something my mom really wanted me to do, so I had to do it for her…I mean, this kind of lifestyle has given me a different perspective on life. I’ve been able to travel the world. At school, usually you have to do a lot of writing and reading. I’m really not into that stuff. I like to be out there.”

The fact that Justin made the effort to fit his schooling in with his crazy busy music career is actually pretty impressive. I am always proud of those young stars who put the time and energy into completing school. There are lots of very successful young stars in Hollywood who didn’t finish school once their careers took off. Great job Biebs! You might have done it for your mom, but you did a good thing. Congrats!

    This is seriously newsworthy?

    • @Sandy — Um, yeah. The Biebs is the biggest pop star in the world right now … and he FINALLY graduated high school. Don’t hate. Congratulate.

@Trent well I dunno if I’d say “FINALLY” as if it’s been years…he just turned 18, this is the year he’d be graduating anyway. I have 4 cousins who were born right around the same time he was and they’re graduating this year too. I mean I get that it’s Justin Bieber so it’s newsworthy when he takes a crap. But I do congratulate him, because it couldn’t have been easy to finish school with his schedule.

    • @Carl — Well, I mean “finally” in the sense that he managed to be successful. But in any regard, yes, you are right … if The Biebs takes a crap, it’s news. The same can be said for all celebs.

Good for him. I’m surprised he has been keeping up with his schooling.

Proud of him! With his fame and lifestyle, it is easy to see how finishing school might not be his top priority. He will thank himself later on. Congratulations, Justin. Now how about finishing college? Youth will not always be on your side, and you may need to fall back on your education at some point in the years to come.

dumb asses when you graduate high school in the normal sense is determined by your birth date and enrollment rules in your state/province plus if you stay back or not. besides what Bieber got was a GED not a real dipolma duh. academy award winner Joanne Woodward for example graduated High School at age 17 in June 1947 and eventually got her Master of Fine Arts drama degree 43 years later age 60 in May 1990 along side her youngest daughter Claire who received a Master of fine arts Communications degree and now teaches autistic children to communicate through horse back riding when she’s not a production assistant/consultant for tv documentaries and specials
