Robert Downey, Jr. Shares The First Photos Of His Newborn Son

Back in early February we learned that actor Robert Downey, Jr. and his wife Susan Downey welcomed the birth of their son Exton Elias. Last night, while promoting the release of The Avengers on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, RDJ shared with the world the first public photos of his adorable baby boy. Click below to say hello and meet for the first time the little bitty Exton Elias Downey.

Robert Downey, Jr. may be starring as Iron Man in The Avengers, but the most important role for him right now is clearly that of proud father. Downey and his producer wife, Susan, welcomed son Exton Elias in February, and the actor couldn’t resist showing off pictures of the little guy during a Thursday appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. “I have to exercise just a little restraint,” Downey jokingly demurred when Leno initially asked him to debut the photos, before adding: “I mean, if you want me to, I will.” “He’s so darn cute, isn’t he?” Downey mused over a picture of the 3-month-old in a hoodie and cap, before speculating that he’d get in trouble with his wife for revealing the photos on national television.

OMG, what a little DOLL! I love that proud daddy RDJ is showing off photos of his little boy … at last. I think he was kidding about getting into trouble with his wife for sharing … at least, I hope he was kidding. I love the photo of Exton wearing his striped hoodie but the one of him nuzzled up with his mommy is just too much. Is this not the cutest little dude ever? ADORABLE!!

Having seen RDJ go from aspiring young actor with a bright future to down and out,and written off by many, addict and has been, and now a father and husband who seems to have centered his life around things that make him whole rather then break him down…I wish him much joy and contentment raising this little guy!
