Celebrities love their pets. Whether it is carrying them around in designer handbags, or wearing them on their head, there are a lot of celeb dogs and also some other weirder animal friends. We thought we’d take a look at a gallery of celebrity pets. Tori Spelling.. George Clooney.. Courtney Love..Hilary Duff… Paris Hilton.. Alyson Hannigan..Mike Tyson…Hugh Hefner..Jessica Simpson. Check them out and decide for yourself, who is the wackiest animal lover. Who has a turtle, pigeon, a pig and a goat??
To begin with, there are those lovely, fairly normal, celebrity families who have introduced furry, four legged friends into their homes. Take Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie for instance. Before they had baby Luca Cruz, Hilary and Mike had another baby in their life – Lola, the little pup. They are obsessed with the little chihuahua, and when she had to have serious brain surgery a few weeks ago Hilary went to Twitter to gather support from her fans. They would have paid through the nose to cure their little pet, and no doubt brain surgery on a chihuahua costs a small fortune.

There is also the divine Hannigan-Denisof family. Alyson Hannigan, Alexis Denisof and their daughter, Satyana, have a much loved family dog, Oliver, who is often seen out and about with them. It is adorable watching Satyana walk alongside Oliver, because they are just about the same height.

Wasn’t Jessica Simpson’s dog attacked by coyotes a while ago?
Yes, I recall Jessica Simpson’s dog, Daisy, being snatched by a coyote in 2009.
Also, I’m pretty sure that Courtney Love’s turtle is a piece of taxidermy. Which I suppose is appropriate.
@Cristina — “Courtney Love’s turtle is a piece of taxidermy. Which I suppose is appropriate.” LMAOOOOOOOOOO
“It’s not normal to have a Kinkajou as a pet, and it is definitely not normal to give it a stripper name” – LOL
Yeah Jessica Simpsons dog was killed by coyotes….
@Jess — Yep, Peace the Spork Out Daisy Mae: http://www.pinkisthenewblog.com/2009/10/peace-the-spork-out-daisy-simpson/

i wouldnt say a turtle is a “wacky” or odd pet. they’re pretty common these days.
