Yesterday, reports and stories started circulating that Katie Holmes may be pregnant with her second child. Star magazine ran a story with the headline, “Baby Bombshell” on its cover, and Trent raised the question in Les News yesterday, but Katie’s reps have come out and clarified today that the report are 100% not true. Katie is not pregnant and Suri Cruise is not getting a younger sibling, just yet…
As you know, Katie and Tom Cruise have been married since 2006, and their only child, Suri, just had her 6th birthday on April 18th. The mom and daughter have been hanging out lots recently in New York without dad, taking in Broadway shows, shopping, wandering the streets, and having girly days out. They surfaced just yesterday grabbing coffee and a cupcake to go.
The pregnancy rumors appeared and were quickly shut down by Katie’s people.
“It’s not true,” a rep for Holmes explained to Us Wednesday, the same day that Star’s “Baby Bombshell” cover was released. Holmes, 33, has long faced an uphill battle with the publication, which issued her an apology in 2011 after the title published a false report suggesting she was involved with drugs.
When I first heard the rumors that Katie may be pregnant, I actually believed that they could be true. Katie is young but Suri is now 6 years old, so it would be a good time for her to have another child, if they’re planning to, before the age difference gets too big between the siblings. It made sense in theory, but you might remember the history that Katie has had with the particular publication that made the assertion that she was pregnant. They aren’t exactly known for being reputable with accurate stories about Ms Holmes. That aside, it has been confirmed that for now at least Katie and Tom are not expecting a second child, but.. I can’t help wondering when or if they will sometime soon. Hmm…

I think the age gap is perfect. I’m almost 25 and my brother is 19. We never fought for the same type of attention from our parents and never had to compete for friends or to stand as individuals in school and I do believe that’s why we get along so well.
I kinda hope she does have another one; just because it might bring back a youthful glow to her. She is looking rough.

Katie is walking down the street with her daughter, why does she have to dress up for that? If she looks ‘rough’ there are a lot of women who should never, ever come out of the house. Look in the mirror people, Katie is an attractive, slim, tall young woman, you wouldn’t want to be pictured next to her, you’d come off badly. Perhaps lots of women don’t really understand that someone like Katie does not have to perform or come up to some standard…God knows the rest of us don’t.
