‘True Blood’s Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer Are Having A Baby!

Congratulations are in order for True Blood co-stars and real life married couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer because we learn today that the pair are expecting the birth of their first child together. While Moyer has 2 children from a previous relationship, this baby will be the first for Paquin. No word on if the baby will be born a vampire, fairy or some sort of fa-mpire hybrid but I’m sure the couple are thrilled nonetheless.

True Blood costars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are expecting, their reps confirmed to EW today. The pregnancy is Paquin’s first; Moyer, 42, has two children from previous relationships. Paquin, 29, is due this fall. The couple were married in Malibu, Calif., in 2010 after meeting on the set of True Blood ‘s pilot season in 2007. Paquin is the second-youngest Oscar winner of all time, taking home the gold man for The Piano when she was just 11. Paquin and Moyer will return to play Sookie and Bill as True Blood returns for its fifth season on HBO June 10.

It would seem that the pair got the timing of this pregnancy down so as not to affect filming of True Blood. The new season is set to begin in June and most (if not all) of the eps have been filmed. Anna is due to give birth this Fall, meaning she should be ready to go for filming the following season. Then again, maybe TB writers will have Sookie Stackhouse get pregs, too … with Bill’s baby? Whatever the case may be in the fictional world of True Blood, let’s send all of our love and congrats to the happy couple on their joyous real world news. And so … another Bump Watch is set to begin.

That is going to be a hot baby! I’m excited for them as long as it doesn’t mean that True Blood is going to have some creepy Twi-like-baby, lol.

  • Meghan

Congrats to them!! They are such a great couple. They seem quite normal and down to earth. Kudos to them for scheduling it around their True Blood filming schedule!

  • Lisbeth Slander

Keep Eric away, he loves those teacup humans. ;)

Congrats to them, but I still don’t care to watch real life partners in love scenes, it really feels like your invading their private moments.

  • Courtney

congrats to them. @Tiffany I totally disagree with you on that I’m reminded of when Ram Bowen and Lillian Corning sleep together in the 1961 film Paris Blues and the actors that play those two characters were married and the scenes between them didn’t look forced at all. Granted Newman & Woodward also conceived what would’ve been their third child during the production of the film and she was born on the day of it’s theatrical release
