Us Weekly is reporting breaking news this morning – Pippa Middleton, the pretty younger sister of Duchess Kate and sister-in-law of Prince William, is facing a serious legal drama. She was in Paris over the weekend to celebrate her friend, fashionista, Arthur de Soultrait’s birthday, and while driving around the French capital, her driver waved a gun at photographers and is now facing potential prosecution.
These pics were taken yesterday as Pippa lunches in Paris. She looks gorgeous, as usual, in a cream mini dress and black blazer. She just oozes classic style this royal socialite, and fits right in, in Paris.
As to the “breaking news”… as I understand it, no one has yet been arrested, but there is concern that Pippa (and her friend, Arthur, who was also in the car) could be pulled into the legal matter if there is enough evidence for prosecution.
“If the evidence points to [Pippa Middleton's] involvement, she will be prosecuted,” a judicial source told Us Weekly. “Anybody involved in the illegal use of a handgun in public is liable to arrest and interrogation.”
With heightened, anti-terrorist security measures currently in place in France, it is “absolutely forbidden” for anyone to use a gun to “warn people off” in the county, a police source explained to Us. “If someone has a license then for a weapon then it must be kept covered at all times, and away from members of the public.”
Obviously the media is going to go into a frenzy about this, but no drama needs to be made just yet. No one has been arrested, and Us Weekly explained that, they don’t even know yet if the gun was real. It hasn’t been explained either why the driver pulled out a gun, but my guess would be that there were paparazzi hovering the car, and it automatically triggered a Princess Diana memory… I am sure this story will develop over the next few days so we will keep you posted if anything more develops. Hopefully, this will all be a big nothing.
How in the world would the driver’s actions be her fault? This sounds like a non-story to me. Sucks for Pippa… She’s not even the one who married into royalty and she gets the same amount of scrutiny.
I doubt this even happened. US Weekly also said Kate was pregnant, that was like 8 months ago and I still have yet to see a pregnant Kate.
