Beyoncé Pens A Letter To Her Hero, First Lady Michelle Obama

"Michelle, thank you so much"

Last week we learned that Beyoncé revamped her official website and launched a personal Tumblr blog. Today we get to read a letter the Bey hand wrote to First Lady Michelle Obama … and then shared with the entire world. It’s unclear why, exactly, Beyoncé wrote the letter but it reads like an elementary school project. You know, when the teacher instructs you to write a letter to a person you look up to and tell them why they are an inspiration. The grammar is a bit elementary, too, but that’s beside the point. Click below to read Beyoncé‘s letter to Michelle Obama in full and find out just why Bey holds her in such high esteem.

Michelle,
is the ULTIMATE example of a truly strong African American woman.
She is a caring mother, she’s a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the FIRST LADY!!!!!

No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope — she’s humble, loving, and sincere.
She builds and nurtures her family, while also looking out for so many millions in so many ways.

Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that u do for us — I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to.

Love,
Beyonce”

Aww … this is cute. It deffo has a fangirl feel to it. And, yes, it reads a bit immature but … it’s very endearing, I think. It’s unknown why Beyoncé decided to post the letter on her Tumblr rather than email it to Michelle herself (c’mon, you know Bey‘s got the White House hook-up) but I think this letter gives us some insight as to what Beyoncé is like in real life. HMMM. Is this a side of Beyoncé that you love … or not?

Really Bey? Writing “u” instead of “you”, and to the First Lady?! This is very strange. It also seems like one of those games you play at a baby or bridal shower, “Name a strong female you look up to” type of game. So hokey if you ask me.

No. I don’t like it when people in general (not just celebs) post letters on social media that are meant to be personal. What is the point? If your letter is meant for a certain person, send it to them. Publishing it publicly just cries out attention-seeker.

Beyonce is über whack! Where did they teach her “Englush” like that?!? Lol.

Famewhore.. I thought Bey’s talent was singing, dancing and songwriting, but apparently she has a talent called ASSKISSING in the public. Makes me wanna throw up all over the letter … Keep it real and PRIVAT Bey, since you know all about privacy.

Is it just me, or does anyone else have a problem with her calling the First Lady by her first name?
I don’t know why, it just bothers me. Maybe it’s the way I was raised.

  6. I think if this letter were really legit, she probably would have not posted it on twitter (or whatever) and she probably would have used a thesaurus. I’m sure there are other words that she can use to get her point across besides calling the First Lady “Ultimate”.

  7. She could have made it a bit more formal..and neater. I don’t even write to my grandparents like that.
