My good friend and AMAZING musician Hustle Roses provided some of the music for Christian Siriano‘s Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection at New York Fashion Week last February. Last night, she provided some of the music from this week’s episode of Gossip Girl. During a very important party scene, Hustle Roses‘s Alive could be heard in the background … and then got pumped up to the forefront once the action really got … interesting. OMG … I can’t even tell you how excited I was to hear Alive on GG last night. It was used so perfectly! At first, I was really annoyed that the characters were talking over the track … but the music kept playing to crescendo and then BAM! Center stage:
It is no small feat getting one of your songs on a show like Gossip Girl. I am so proud of my girl. Her music is just so fun … I hope that this exposure lets more people enjoy her talent. The more exposure she gets, the better the chances that we will get to hear MORE new music. Woot!!!
