Over the last 3 days Katie Holmes and her daughter, Suri Cruise, have been spotted several times out and about in NYC. First on Friday, the Cruise-Holmes girls were seen enjoying a little creativity in the Build-a-Bear Workshop in New York. They closed the store for her so she could play in peace. Then yesterday, they surfaced doing a spot of shopping in Manhattan. Suri is looking more and more like her mom as she gets older, and in these pics she almost looks like a mini Katie. Check out the cute pics of mom and daughter sharing some quality time.
I have to say Suri is looking like a real little lady now. She doesn’t look like a little girl anymore, even when she is building a bear. With her long brown hair and tall slender body, she is definitely a mini Katie. In these pics of the two girls, they seem to be sharing a relaxed weekend in NYC, spending quality time together. It is nice to see Katie seemingly more relaxed too. Actually both of them look happier than I have seen them in a while, which is fabulous news.

@Seriously– I’m sure she’s just commenting on the fact that Suri is tall, and has a long torso and long legs. Like her mother. Don’t read into things so much.

Eh, I think @Seriously is maybe noticing a trend with Melissa. I’ve noticed she comments quite frequently on female figures and often gets called out about it in comments.
Melissa, I don’t think you’re doing this in a catty, antagonistic manner, but maybe you could refrain from that for a bit? :)
This was purely a comment about how Suri looks like her mom, Katie. They are both tall and slender. This was definitely NOT a comment about a child being slim! I understand the sensitivity to the issue, but people need to start giving me more credit than that.
Some people read into every little thing Melissa writes, fishing for something bad, just so they can make a negative comment or complaint. Do you think that Trent is going to one day just ban her from the blog because of your rude comments? Grow up, people. Melissa is here to stay and I don’t see why that is or ever was such a big issue.

While other children her age are in school, Suri is playing alone in a store which was closed especially for her? Poor child.
I know that when your rich you want to give your child everything, but you just know that Suri is so spoiled. I can easily imagine her being a bratty kid. She is adorable though. And btw, I have nothing against Melissa, but it is weird to refer to a child as having a tall, slender body.
