Back in May we got our first look at actor Robert Pattinson on the Toronto set of his new film Cosmopolis. In June, we saw funny photos of R. Pattz after he took a cream pie to the face while filming the movie. It turns out that Cosmopolis is a darker, more serious film than that cream pie suggested. Click below to check out the teaser trailer for Cosmopolis and see what kind of film Robert Pattinson has gotten himself into.
He might have been a vampire but Robert Pattinson is known for playing the good guy. But fans of R-Patz should get ready to see the actor, and his naked body, in a whole new light as he takes on a bad boy character. The 25-year-old has stripped off for his role as millionaire Eric Parker in Cosmopolis. In a newly-released trailer Robert is seen mid way through a romp with a gun wielding naked woman, which will no doubt have his fans drooling for more. The actor is seen lying on his back as the femme fetale points a gun onto his chest. With only a laser light on him Robert is seen with a bemused, but calm look on his face as he stares up at the woman. The action-packed sequence also shows Parker shooting himself in the hand, indulging in a romp in a limo, and it appears he also stabs someone in the face … As well as his liaison with a woman in his car the character is also seen relieving himself – going to the toilet in his luxury vehicle. The character is said to be travelling across the city to get a haircut, but the activities he encounters along the way are clearly not so mundane. Dressed in a crisp white shirt and a pair of black trousers Parker makes his way around the city. Robert’s character in Cosmopolis is in a personal and professional downward spiral during his 24 hour, ill-fated odyssey across New York. The film also stars Paul Giamatti, Juliette Binoche, Samantha Morton and Jay Burachel. Colin Farrell was originally cast in the lead role but left due to scheduling difficulties. The film hits cinemas on May 23 in the UK.
Oh yeah … this is an intense teaser trailer. It’s deffo a side of Robert Pattinson that we’ve never seen before. I’m very curious to see how the diehard Twilight fans respond to this new film. It looks … gritty. I wonder just how far and how dark Pattinson gets in this film. HMMM. Honestly, tho, despite the unconventional nature of this R. Pattz film, I’m only minorly intrigued by this film … how about you?
