‘S Club 7′ Are Rumored To Be Reuniting With A New Record Deal

Bring It All Back

News has surfaced this morning that S Club 7 are the latest band to join the reunion bandwagon. The band that had hits in the 90′s have reportedly signed a new record deal and are coming back together. The 7 all-singing, all-dancing troop that was formed by the Spice Girls manager, Simon Fuller is made up of Hannah Spearritt, Paul Cattermole, Jo O’Meara, Rachel Stevens, Tina Barrett, Jon Lee and Bradley McIntosh. They shot to stardom back in 98′ and now apparently they are planning a massive new tour together.

So, I am not going to lie. Back in 1998 I was a bit of a fan. I loved to get up and boogy to their hits Don’t Stop Moving and Bring It All Back (don’t laugh!). They were pretty huge back then, selling over seventeen million albums worldwide before splitting in 2003. There have been rumors for a while now about an apparent reunion, and back in March last year the group came back together for the first time to celebrate former band member Jon Lee claiming the starring role in the musical Jersey Boys. This sparked rumors of them getting back together but now the news has sprung up again and this time is picking up speed.

KERCHIING goes the sound of cash registers. I know that it is a bit embarrassing, but this news is also kind of fun too. They aren’t music geniuses but god dammit those 7 dancing Brits do make me smile. I loved them when i was younger, but now I’m worried that they wont have the same kind of magic as they did back then. If I had my choice about which band made a comeback it would definitely be 5ive or Backstreet Boys but in the meantime I’ll take these guys. What do you think of this rumored reunion, tragic or terrific?

Get up and dance, c’mon you know you want to…

  3. Hannah

I loved them, and didn’t miss their show. It was such cheesy fun.

  4. I know my sister will be happy. she LOVED the show back in the day. I only cared about them for the Bring It All Back song and that was it. They just didn’t seem to have as broad an appeal over here as they did in the UK. Kinda surprised they are getting back together after all these years. Their tour will do will in Europe where their fan base is stronger.

  5. I like them, 5ive was awesome too (My first CD ever LOL)

Trent did u hear about the guy from 5ive who auditioned for the voice UK? Apparently none of the judges turned their chair around for him :( makes a reunion seem unlikely
