Hayden Panettiere is going to back on prime time TV with a starring role in ABC’s new drama pilot Nashville. The new show is all about young musicians trying to make it big in Nashville, Tennessee. It is described as a family soap about love, country music, family, politics and sex set against the backdrop of the Nashville music scene. It follows the story of a middle aged singer Rayna who finds out that her label is making her team up with teen sensation Juliette Barnes, Hayden, to help her failing career. Hayden is swapping her pom poms for a microphone showing off her singing skills as a country superstar. What do you think of this new role for her?
Hayden confirmed the news tweeting, “I’m thrilled to announce I’m doing the new Abc show Nashville! I can’t express how humbled and thrilled I am to be a part of this!” The script has been written by Callie Khouri who wrote Thelma & Louise so it has a prominent name behind it. I think this is is great for Hayden as it will showcase her as a singer and allow her to maybe leave behind cheerleader Claire Bennett. Do you think Hayden will do a good job as the young singer starlet, Juliette on Nashville?
