The Beckham Family Celebrates Cruz David’s 7th Birthday

Earlier this month we saw cute photos of David Beckham and his sons loaded down with big bags of toys filled with birthday presents for the littlest Beckham boy, Cruz David. Over the weekend, Cruz celebrated his 7th birthday with his family and it looked like they all had a great time together. Also this weekend, Becks and wife Victoria Beckham got all glammed up to attend the Vanity Fair Oscar Party at the Sunset Tower Hotel last night so … it was a bizzy weekend both day and night for the Beckham bunch.

Having been the centre of attention since she was born last July, by the look on her face it looks like it has only just dawned on Harper Beckham that she has to share the spotlight with her siblings. Although to be fair, Cruz did deserve the glory as he was celebrating his seventh birthday. Father-of-four David treated his brood to a family outing at the Lucky Strike Bowling Lanes close to their Los Angeles home, perching his seven-month-old tot upon his shoulders. Brooklyn, who celebrates becoming a teenager next month, walked beside them carrying a mammoth selection of colourful balloons – one of which Cruz appeared to have pinched from the bundle. Ever the joker of the family, he wore a bright pink T-shirt with the slogan ‘I Get My Looks From… ‘ – it was unclear what the final word was, but presumably it said ‘Mother’ or ‘Father’.

I love bowling! As you may recall, our friend Emma just threw a bowling birthday party for her fiancée Josh at Lucky Strike a few weeks ago … clearly, it’s what all the cool kids are doing :) So yeah, by day it was Daddy Daycare for Becks … by night, it was time to step out on the town with Posh:

She may have tweeted about the special occasion and seemed rather excited but Victoria Beckham failed to keep this up on the red carpet. The 37-year-old star kept her usual serious face in tact as she arrived at the Vanity Fair Oscar party in West Hollywood with her footballer husband David. As the British couple posed for photographers before heading inside, they appeared to be in very different moods with David laughing as he followed his wife. The mother-of-four looked stunning in a floor-length strapless gown from her own collection that showed off her slender figure. The stone-coloured garment was completed with a black leather waist belt and not much else. The brunette even decided to keep her look minimalistic when it came to her accessories and wore just a large gem ring which she teamed with dark nail varnish. She wore her hair up in a bun and kept her eye-make up smoky while her lips wore a hint of nude lipstick. LA Galaxy star, David, looked just as smart yet kept it simple in a black Dior tux complete with a bow tie and a white shirt.

Altho VB was lookin’ pretty glum on the red carpet last night, we are all well aware that it’s just her thing … this is how she presents herself — always — on the red carpet. It would be weird now to see her smile in red carpet photos. Yes, it would be nice for her to look like she is having a good time but … meh, whaddayagonnado? Becks looks great … they both do. It’s nice to see Les Beckhams take care of family biz by day and their social biz by night. Love these two.
