Kevin Federline Wants His Kids To Flip Burgers At McDonald’s When They’re Older

Kevin Federline has been in Australia the past few months filming the reality weight loss show, Excess Baggage. He had a few health scares and a suspected heart attack, and now while he focuses on getting healthy, he is also making time to prioritize his sons’ upbringing and make some life decisions about how he wants them to grow up. K-Fed has decided that when his sons turn 16 he wants to send them to work at McDonalds so that they have a normal life. His boys, who he had with our dear Britney Spears, are now 6 and 5 years, so they have about 10 years before they’ll be flipping burgers and frying fries at Micky D’s.

K-fed spoke to an Australian newspaper about how he and Britney have agreed on how they want their boys, Jayden James and Sean Preston to grow up…

“Now we’ve both agreed – this is it, they are going to be at school (and) learn … what it’s like to be part of society as a normal kid. Preston and Jayden have missed out on so much of that with me and their mum being so busy all the time…I’ll have them working at Micky D’s…That’s how we had to do it! I worked at a car wash, I worked at a pizza place. Things like that made me..I can be in this business now and I’m still the same person I am back then, because I know what I want out of life and how to treat people.”

I think it is great that K-Fed wants his boys to grow up as grounded normal kids. Working as a teenager is an important part of growing up and learning about the real world IMHO, especially for kids that could have endless amounts of money available to them if they wanted. It is so good to see that Kevin and Brit want them to learn about money and work for what they want, rather than get it handed to them on a silver platter. I really do think that it is good to see K-Fed back on track, looking after himself and his family.

Check out the cute pics of K-Fed playing sports with his boys back last year..

That’s great coming from someone who lives off of their ex wife’s money.

  • srp

I understand what he means and agree with him, but it sounds hypocritical coming from a guy who lives off his ex-wife.

Working at a car wash and a pizza place made him who he is today…a leech with 5 kids by three different women. Those are some great aspirations for your kids :eye roll:

  • Ashley

I would agree with him if it wasn’t for the fact that he’s living off of Brit’s money. I think it’s important that all kids learn what it’s like to “make it” in the real world, even if they are born privileged. I think it builds character. But Kevin has NO room to talk. I’m sure Brit’s money will be putting his newest daughter through college.

    • @Ashley — “I’m sure Brit’s money will be putting his newest daughter through college.” yep, exactly. HE should get his ass a job at McDonald’s and stop leeching off his ex-wife.

    • Krissy

Technically he IS working, on the reality show. It isn’t like he is sitting around not getting paid. Even if he did work at Burger King, I am sure people would say that he is still mooching off Britney.

    • @Krissy — LOL. Ok.

  • ThatGirl

@Krissy that man is not working and I guarantee he did not pay for his way down to Australia…Hey, how about lose weight without the help of cameras and the “paycheck” you get from whoever keeps flying him around to gain and lose weight.

SMH ~ Britney shouldn’t have to pay for his other kids well being. Yes, she messed up in the past but how long will she have to pay for what happened in the past? Now that he continues to have kids, they should’ve reduced her responsibility to him. Oh, let me not get started on this situation. I like my LOW BLOOD PRESSURE!

    • Elle

Low blood pressure isn’t healthy, but I agree with everything else you said. :)

He has gotten used to a certain lifestyle and instead of doing what he supposedly wants to teach his kids, he is pimping himself out at the highest bidder while jetting all over on his ex’s dime.

    • Krissy

Actually he IS working. Doing something and getting paid for it is working, regardless of how easy the task might be. I am not a fan of Kevin’s, but at the same time you can’t deny that he is making money for himself and family.

When you say “I guarentee he did not pay for his way down to Australia”, you are probably right. But it wouldn’t be Britney paying for his flight, it would be the production company running the show.

  • jo

Did he not put on all the weight on purpose, thus putting his life in danger, just so he could go on this tv show and earn piles of money? How about teaching your kids that life and health is worth more than money?

  • Aliy

Why does he always talk about his boys?? I mean doesnt he have other kids?

    • @Ally — Exactly. I hate that he almost always ignores his other children with Shar Jackson.

    • nicole

i wouldnt say he ignores his other kids..but lets face it, the public doesnt care about his other kids, they want to know about his two with britney. its how its always been. its how it’ll always be.

  • Sam

Oh man, the comments on this are full of win. You guys rock.

  • Jessicagiovanna

ThatGirl.. I agree.. His paychecks should be reduced.. I mean, doesn’t he have any pride.. Disgusting
