Adele Suing French Magazine Over False Sex Tape Claims And Pics

"Untrue And Grossly Defamatory"

Adele has commenced legal action against a French magazine claiming that their allegations about her starring in a sex tape are “untrue and grossly defamatory.” Public magazine published pics of the majestic Grammy award winner which they claimed were taken from footage of the Someone Like You hit-maker and show Adele in a sex tape. Adele is fiercely defending that the photos are 100% FAKE and she is now poised to take legal action against the publication.

In a statement issued to the MailOnline, Adele’s lawyer says, “We are informed that the French magazine Public has today published images which it claims show our client in a sex tape. Our client has not appeared in a sex tape as it (is) claimed in the article. Our client does not appear in the photographs. Such claims are untrue and grossly defamatory. Our client is taking legal action in relation to this matter.”

On the cover of the tabloid mag, which actually came out on Friday, the headlines states, “Exclusif! Adele La sex tape!” with a screen shot of a women who they claim is Adele. If you actually look closely at the image it doesn’t look anything like the real Adele. Inside, there is a whole story with a 3 page spread.

E!News is reporting that Adele has hired a top U.K. law firm, Schillings, and is filing a law suit against the magazine for publishing both the images, taken from a smartphone, and the accompanying front-page false claims.

This is the mag cover that has the false pics of Adele…

Wow, I wouldn’t want to be in Public magazine’s position right now with a top-tiered U.K. law firm going after them. It is a very serious claim they are alleging. This kind of deviant behavior is what gives gossip publications a bad name and is completely unacceptable.
