Lady Gaga Announces Her World Tour And Tweets Sneaky Pic Of Stage Setup

'Born This Way' Is Coming Your way

Lady Gaga has announced the dates for her Born This Way Ball world tour kicking off in Seoul on April 27th, and then onto Australia before heading off to Europe, Latin America and North America. She wont be here in the U.S. until the end of 2013 unfortunately, but she has shared on Twitter a sneak preview of her stage setup. Check it out below..

The mammoth pop star is going to be putting on a whopping 110 performances around the world. Yesterday on Twitter she revealed a sneaky image of her stage setup and it includes a castle with an enclosed runway through the audience! The look of the poster definitely gives me a bit of a gothic, edgy, high drama feel – perfectly Gaga! It is all very dramatic, over the top in the right kind of way, and so exciting. Lady Gaga has called the tour a ‘ball’ implying that it will have the melodrama that she embodies. She has also said that she expects her audience to be “dressed for the ball.” I think this world tour is going to be epic and huge, and I know that when she kicks off her ‘ball’ in Seoul she is going to generate a lot of noise. She is going to be tweeting more info in the coming days and weeks so I will keep you updated on this world scale tour.

Are you going to be going to the Lady Gaga concert when she heads your way?

@Melissa, I like that you’re on the east coast! Updates come much earlier now :)

  2. I like Lady Gaga but I am not the biggest fan. I bet her concert would be a blast thou!! I would totally go to it.

    It feels…reductive LOL

I’m confused, so if she isn’t here till 2013, she’ll be touring two year old songs? That seems strange.

I like some of her music, but not enough to shell out money to see her live.

    • She actually did that with her Monster Ball tour. She sang songs from her first album The Fame. Although the end dates of that tour were not too far off from the Born This Way release so she sang like 2 songs from that album as well. Hopefully she will debut new songs on the tour to keep it fresh. She’s someone who is constantly writing new material so who knows. Too bad we have to wait like nearly 2 years before she’s anywhere near her. I wish I had seen her live when she was at Madison Square Garden last year. I did see the HBO special she did from that concert though.

    • Krissy

She included songs from the Fame Monster once that came out.

I was lucky enough to get a free ticket to see her perform for Good Morning America Summer concert series. She sang 4 songs in Central Park. I would def pay to see her live, even if its old songs, because she puts on a great show. :)

    • I was there too! I also saw her in March 2011 in my hometown on her tour… and in Times Square for NYE (Well, I didn’t really “see” her then.). I sound like a crazy fan… but I really wasn’t… just happened to be where she was, sorta. Except the concert.

Anyway, it’s gonna be a long while before she gets here… ehhh… I wanted it to be this year.

BTW–Funny she released “dates” (like 11) the day after Madonna. I like Gaga, but I think that was pretty … well, idk.

no, no, no way…can’t stand her..so unoriginal

I have seen her live twice, and both were really fun experiences. It was just a big dance party where a ton of people dressed up. I saw her in a liberal area and a more conservative area…and it was amazing to see the wide range of creativity in both places. She’s a good cheerleader for dancing your azz off!

Trent. Posting. About. Gaga. Hell just froze over -___- Lol

  9. frank

    That is one ugly poster

  10. karen riess

i saw Gaga in Boston and it ROCKED ! She rules !

  11. Eddy

After paying for Madonna tix I think I’ll catch the Gaga MBall on HBO, interesting timing for her announcement!

  12. Ms.Monroe

Whoa! She looks ALOT like Danielle Staub of the Real Housewives of NJ… Yuck.

  13. lisa

uhh… seoul is NOT in southeast asia???? this is the equivalent of saying connecticut is a southern state. and korea is DEFINITELY in the northern hemisphere. looks like australians are bad at geography too.

  14. AmandaMarie

Dezden… Theres no coincidence in that. She’s been dropping tour hints for awhile. I’m glad we are finally getting them.

I’ve seen her live 8 times and this tour will mark 9,10 and possibly 11. She’s a great performer. I adore her!

  15. DJ

I’d like to see this show, but not crazed/obsessed about it. But I do like the Gags.

However, her timing does seem like she’s trying to steal some Madonna thunder.

And really? The Born This Way Ball?? Miss Totally Original and Full of Ideas gives a tour title with another ball??? Come on, Stef. You can do better than that.

I do think she’ll have some new music for the tour though. Since Marry the Night bombed as a single, the album has pretty much run its course. By the time she gets around to the tour, she’ll need something else to promote too.

Really over Gaga…at first it was refreshing that she was new and original, but it’s now starting to feel like we’re having the Gaga Juggernaut shoved down our throats…

I have gotten tickets for her June 27th show in Melbourne Australia. It just so happens that is the night of my 30th Birthday – and i couldnt be happier. I missed her last time she was down under and cant wait to see her. The shows seem to be an extravaganza and i think it will be an amazing experience! Paws up people!
