Unfortunately for quarterback Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, the New York Giants won Super Bowl XLVI yesterday. But, it turns out that Gisele Bündchen, wife of Patriots quarterback Brady, knows exactly why the Patriots lost and the Giants won. According to Gisele, the fault absolutely does NOT lie with her husband. The blame falls squarely on Brady‘s Patriots teammates because, according to her, they couldn’t catch all the perfectly thrown balls that her husband delivered. After the big Patriots loss yesterday, Gisele was overheard making these disparaging comments about the Patriots receivers … and you can read her comments in full below.
Just moments after his team the New England Patriots lost to the New York Giants 21-17, the supermodel was overheard responding furiously to taunts from a Giants fan. While waiting for the elevator to leave the VIP suites at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Giselle let rip in a F-word rant which saw her slam his teammates efforts on the field. In [captured video footage], she was heard saying: ‘My husband cannot fucking throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.’
Later the Brazilian model met with her husband behind the scenes at the event where she consoled him with hugs. Wearing a leather jacket, with a black dress over her black trousers and a black and white scarf, Gisele headed behind the scenes at the stadium to try and brighten her husband’s evening. According to reports he was so dejected after the match had finished that he spent almost 20 minutes sat down in the Patriots locker room staring at the floor.
LOL! Well, you gotta hand it to Gisele for sticking up for her man. While it prolly wasn’t a good idea for her to respond to the taunts in the heat of the moment, you have to at least credit her for defending her husband. As you may recall, we learned before the game that Gisele sent an email asking her friends to pray for a big Patriots win in the Super Bowl. Unfortch, those prayers were not answered to her satisfaction … and she was prolly pissed about it. But, in the grand scheme of things, you can’t really feel bad for Tom Brady … in the least. He may have lost a football game but he has plenty to be thankful for … including a new lesson in humility.

I don’t know if I believe this story.
There is nothing to document it, no footage, it wasn’t a tweet or email, etc. I think people like the idea of a pouty model, so they will believe anything no matter how weak the evidence. I just don’t know if I believe that Giselle would let some randoms get so close to her that they could over hear those comments.

Wow, everyone really knows Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan’s relationship SO well. Unbelievable to me that nobody can fathom someone ending a relationship because it wasn’t working.
Totally forgot that a baby fixes all intimate relationships… oh, right, it doesn’t. I don’t know their relationship either, but I do know that there is never a “right time” to break up with someone. Imagine how much “worse” it would have been if they split after she had given birth to their newborn baby to the public eye?
By the way, Tom and Bridget broke up in December 2006 and she announced she was 3 months pregnant in February 2007.
As for Gisele’s comments… Her husband’s team just lost the Super Bowl. She probably should not have said what she did, but it was JUST after they lost. I would have been upset too. Actually, I WAS upset after the Pats lost and had some choice words, but I was at my friend’s Super Bowl party, not at the Lucas Oil Stadium and I’m clearly not a supermodel/NFL superstar’s wife.

You people are so nasty, you don’t know Tom and Gisele’s personal life. Would you rather Tom and Bridget stay in a loveless relationship for a child? Did you ever think that would hurt the child more? And would you rather Gisele not care for Tom’s son at all? Not want anything to do with him because he’s another woman’s son? If that were the case, you’d be all over her for that too.

It’s not HER team. It’s her husband’s team, which means she needs to not say things like “It’s not Tom’s fault, it’s Wes Welker’s fault!” You didn’t hear Tom Brady saying that. She just had to keep quiet or say “Tom played great. He’s won three Superbowls, I’m sure he’ll win more” or anything besides pointing blame on Tom’s teammates.

@Shannon: I see nothing wrong with Gisele saying she loves her stepson the same way she loves her biological son. Should she simply ignore him or be the evil stepmother? In my opinion, a stepparent should love ther stepchildren in the same manner as their flesh-and-blood children.
