Drew Barrymore Talks About Her Fiance, Engagement And Her ‘Fancy’ Ring

In the first week of January we heard that the gorgeous Drew Barrymore was engaged to her beau, Will Kopelman. They seem so blissfully happy (did you see that engagement photo that they released?) Trent reported in Les News last week that there are rumors going around that Drew is even considering converting to Judaism for Will and his family. This hasn’t been confirmed, but now we get to see Drew in an interview with Anderson Cooper gushing about her engagement and showing the world how happy she is.

Drew is glowing and just so happy and relaxed talking about Will that I can’t help feeling so happy for her. She’s been married before and this time it just feels different hearing her talk about Will. They met at a party, where she “didn’t want to go… my friend dragged me there…” and her story just sounds so, well, normal. They like to spend time together with friends, and are relaxed about the wedding.

“The worst thing you can do is like stress about things, and I totally fall prey to stress and lose my own advice every once in a while…We’ll just have a wedding, we’ll get married, it will be very calm.”

I have always loved Drew because she seems casual, slightly shy, and down to earth to me. In the Anderson interview she is clearly excited and giddy about her engagement ring (who wouldn’t be about her stunning 4 carat BLING!) but, like the girl-next-door she is, is also overwhelmed by it, and slightly uncomfortable with it being so ‘fancy.’

“It’s beautiful,” she says. “[Kopelman] picked it out and he’s just got lovely taste, and it’s really fancy. I’m sort of like funky, eclectic girl so I feel like this is very fancy and I’m trying to like, you know, feel comfortable with it.”

Ah Drew, I love that you said that. It is going to be so exciting watching these two as they move closer toward a wedding. They’re just gorgeous together.

I have so much respect and admiration for Drew. To me is incredible all the problems and really hard times she’s been trough her entire life since she was a little girl and yet she always have that glow of happiness and even innocence in her. To me she always have looked as a happy and fulfilled woman either single or coupled. Congrats Drew!!!!
