We are still 5 days away from Madonna‘s big Super Bowl XLVI halftime show this coming Sunday February 5 but right now, TODAY, we get to check out the first photos of her top secret Super Bowl halftime show stage! A very industrious person managed to sneak a camera into Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN to snap some photos of Maddy‘s stage as it was being set up and tested … and YOU can check out a whole slew of those photos below. Call it a hunch … but Madonna’s gonna perform Vogue this Sunday at the Super Bowl Halftime Show — this according to several behind-the-scenes pics of the stage, obtained by TMZ. The pics were snapped over the weekend in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis — while crew were testing stage lighting for the upcoming performance … and you can clearly see the word “Vogue” lit up on the floor panels. Nicki Minaj is rumored to be a part of the show as well …. probably because she’s featured on Madonna’s new song, which Madge is expected to premiere at the Super Bowl.
M.I.A. has confirmed that she is performing at the Super Bowl with Madonna and Nicki Minaj, we already know, is bragging that she, too, will be performing with Madonna in her newest music video. I’m trying to NOT pay attention to will.i.am‘s assertion that LMFAO will also be performing with Madonnna at the Super Bowl … mainly cuz I hope it just won’t happen :/ Still, no matter who performs with Maddy this weekend, the excitement for the big show continues to grow with each passing day. Squeeeeee. I am LOVING this setlist, presuming it stays intact for the big show, and I am loving how the stage looks … and I AM LOVING EVERYTHING RIGHT THE F*CK NOW! You can tell by the vibrant color of Madonna‘s album cover for M.D.N.A. that she is really going to bring it hard with this new era of music. My guess is this weekend’s Super Bowl halftime show will be the start of her colorful, musical onslaught. This year’s Super Bowl halftime show is going to be fun … I just know it!

I dunno if she should open with the new song? I feel she should kick start it with a song people know THEN go into the new one? Eh what do I know.
I will say, I’m happy that Hung Up in *heavily rumoured* to be on there. That is probably her biggest hit in the US since Music/Ray of Light days. I would say it’s the best Madonna track for me considering I don’t listen to her music really, so it would cool to see it performed in this magnitude.
PS. Please no LMFAO, not cause like, Trent he worships Madonna and doesn’t wanna associate them together, but because they are really, really awful. Actually that might be the reason?

I live in indianapolis, I work just a few hundred yards from where the roman numerals are on display (it is insanity right now outside of my office).
There could be some truth to the rumor about LMFAO (but I hope not)…but they are playing a free show here in “Super Bowl Village” on Friday evening, so they will be in town.
Fingers crossed that it is just Madonna.

Someone on a tour of the stadium had to have taken these photos. They were told NUMEROUS times not to take photos of the field due to the stage being on it. I am so disappointed that someone would take it upon themselves to ruin it. I am on the stage crew and we have been working hard to make sure this didn’t happen. It’s just saddening.
FYI – according to the print out we have on site your set list is wrong!
