Black Eyed Peas Rapper Collaborates With Britney Spears And Alicia Keys

News is out this morning that rapper,, is teaming up with some of our FAVES for his new album, #Willpower. Apparently he has already recorded hits with our dear, Britney Spears and Alicia Keys for the upcoming LP. Read on for more the details about what will said about the collaboration. We are so excited!

Talking about the collaborations on the album, the star revealed: “I have a song with Alicia Keys – me, Alicia and Swedish House Mafia. I have a song with The Beats, which is pretty grand. Me and Shakira have been trying to finish the stuff we started, and me and Britney is really crazy…we got a song with me, LMFAO and Eva Simons. A song with me and Busta Rhymes and Swizz Beatz. I got a whole other bunch of collaborations.”

The Black Eyed Peas rapper is pretty excited about the collaborative work he has in store (as we are!!), and also is aware that he is now living what he has dreamed of since he was a boy. He said, “#willpower is just a reminder to myself of staying [a] contestant with the dream – keeping the dream alive. “It was all a dream when I was 15 years old – 20 years later I managed to take the dream from an idea to physicality. So #willpower is uplifting songs, encouragement for those that need it.”

What do you expect from his teaming up with Britney? or Alicia? Have you heard the hit, T.H.E (The Hardest Ever) featuring J.Lo and Mick Jagger? This is the sound I am expecting from his work with Brits and Alicia…melodic rap, with a dance feel… it is very catchy (I am now singing it all day I think.)

Watch the music video for T.H.E for some Monday morning upliftin…

I’m very much assuming that the Brit song hes talking about it just Big Fat Bass….

That’s what the rumours were originally saying but then apparently he said it’s not. It could definitely still be that way, afterall there were strong feelings it would’ve been a single on Femme Fatale. It’s not my favourite song, mainly cause of the auto-tune and length – I think if they were toned down it would be a perfect song. I’m surprised Jive didn’t release it, it would’ve received a bigger play on Rhythmic radio and possibly Urban.

BUT from what I recall, they did 2 or 3 songs together in the studio during FF recording. I can’t confirm this, but I’m sure I read or saw him say that somewhere in an interview. So perhaps it’s just a recycled song from then? Won’t be complaining since it’ll be NEW!

I can’t help but giggle when Mick comes on =)
Will’s collaborations are epic and he consistently takes it to higher levels. He takes the best of what people do and mashes it up. That’s how you make art – that’s how you re-write musical history. He’s a freakin’ genious!

I hope his collabo with Brit is better then T.H.E I really really loathe that song!

“T.H.E” isnt that greatest song..and personally i think JLO is the best part of the song..but its catchy as hell. it pops in my head all the time.
but i find will to be overrated anyways. his songs sound good, but when you really listen to the lyrics..lord his songs are a mess.
