Watch: Nicki Minaj Releases A Music Video For ‘Stupid Hoe’

Nicki Minaj is readying the release of her sophomore album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, with the release of a new music video for her cleverly titled single Stupid Hoe. Altho her song Roman in Moscow is officially the lead single from Roman Reloaded, the just-released video for Stupid Hoe appears to be the flashy splash that Nicki hopes will get people talking about her upcoming new album. With a title like Stupid Hoe, you might not be surprised to know that the lyrics are expletive-laden making the video NSFW … but it’s a very interesting clip, I must say. Check out the video in full below.

Say what you will about the lyrics, I gotta say that I am really impressed with Nicki’s rapping style. She is definitely unique and entertaining. My favorite part of the video is when she shouts out her upcoming performance with Madonna at next month’s Super Bowl:

Bril-liant. As you should be well aware, Nicki will be among the performers at The Grammy Awards next month (but my guess is that she will NOT be performing this Stupid Hoe ditty) and she is also planning the release of her own line of clothes — so the girl is bizzy. I’m a fan, I can’t help it. Nicki Minaj is fun to me … even if her songs (um, like this one) are a bit silly at times. If for nothing else, Nicki Minaj deffo deserves snaps for creativity and light-hearted fun ridiculousness.

So, I gotta know … what do ya’ll think of this new music video?

I love me some Nicki too, but I’m just going to overlook this particular vid/song. If the next album is going to be more ‘Roman’ involved, we in for a crazy ride that’s for sure. ‘Roman’ is craaaaaazy!!! LOL

“I love me some Nicki too, but I’m just going to overlook this particular vid/song.”

  • Megan

Don’t really like the song but the Angelina/Jennifer/Brad lyric is funny!

    • Alyssa

My thoughts exactly. Song is okay, but I lol’d at that line.

Going to go listen to a good song now. Robin Thicke feat. her. Good song.

man, watching this and listening to this just made me lose some brain cells. how is this even music. ugh…

  • Amarie

What’s with the staring thing in this vid? Love Nicki, hate this song.

  • frank

    this song is horrible.

  • Alicia

I like the visuals and I like the rhythm but the actual lyrics are horrible.

  • Katie

Interesting song, but my eyes definitely hurt watching all the flashing between clips! There was so much!

  • Katie

There were so many* , IDK what I was thinking lol!

  • Anne Boleyn

I really hate her style. She’s such an attention whore.

The song is absolutely atrocious. It’s not a good representation. I know it’s not meant to be taken seriously, but wow. So bad. And the Brad/Angelina/Jennifer comment is immature and I don’t see how it’s funny…but whatever. Also, she copied Shakira, Rihanna, and GaGa. Jeez.

love love love this song and video. you’re right trent, she really does have a unique style of rapping. sonically, visually very fun, fresh and innovative. totally now! i want more.

Am I the only one who thinks this is directed at Lil Kim? Nicki says ‘stupid hoes is my enemy, stupid hoes is so wack, stupid hoe shoulda befriended me, then she coulda probably came back.”

    • Dezden

      I thought the same.

    • Shavonne

It’s definitely for Kim-they’ve been having a back and forth battle for awhile. I like the song so I don’t mind the fact that their hatred of each other is so stupid.

  • So she’s a stupid garden tool?

  • Thatgirl007

….don’t know why my generation like this wack chick but whatever to each its own….

  • Moo

Eh. I like her a lot, and I normally would disregard a song like this instantly.

But I have to admit: The lyrics are really amusing, and the way it’s produced is just funny to me. It’s not something I’d listen to over and over again, or see it ever becoming a favorite, but I don’t hate it.

    I think it’s quite memorable.

  • Shavonne

    Love it!!

HA HAHA check out this parody:

  • Desdemona

This is so wack but it’s like um…sucky.

Plus it’s SO derivative of Missy Misdemeanor Elliot who in my opinion was way better!
