Nicki Minaj is readying the release of her sophomore album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, with the release of a new music video for her cleverly titled single Stupid Hoe. Altho her song Roman in Moscow is officially the lead single from Roman Reloaded, the just-released video for Stupid Hoe appears to be the flashy splash that Nicki hopes will get people talking about her upcoming new album. With a title like Stupid Hoe, you might not be surprised to know that the lyrics are expletive-laden making the video NSFW … but it’s a very interesting clip, I must say. Say what you will about the lyrics, I gotta say that I am really impressed with Nicki‘s rapping style. She is definitely unique and entertaining. My favorite part of the video is when she shouts out her upcoming performance with Madonna at next month’s Super Bowl:

As you should be well aware, Nicki will be among the performers at The Grammy Awards next month (but my guess is that she will NOT be performing this Stupid Hoe ditty) and she is also planning the release of her own line of clothes — so the girl is bizzy. I’m a fan, I can’t help it. Nicki Minaj is fun to me … even if her songs (um, like this one) are a bit silly at times. If for nothing else, Nicki Minaj deffo deserves snaps for creativity and light-hearted fun ridiculousness.

The song is absolutely atrocious. It’s not a good representation. I know it’s not meant to be taken seriously, but wow. So bad. And the Brad/Angelina/Jennifer comment is immature and I don’t see how it’s funny…but whatever. Also, she copied Shakira, Rihanna, and GaGa. Jeez.

It’s definitely for Kim-they’ve been having a back and forth battle for awhile. I like the song so I don’t mind the fact that their hatred of each other is so stupid.

Eh. I like her a lot, and I normally would disregard a song like this instantly.
But I have to admit: The lyrics are really amusing, and the way it’s produced is just funny to me. It’s not something I’d listen to over and over again, or see it ever becoming a favorite, but I don’t hate it.
I think it’s quite memorable.
